    Abstract: An expandable structure can expand to provide a second story and patio over the first story. The expandable structure can be provided as a recreational vehicle, for example. The second story can recess partially into the first story, while the walls of the second story can be formed in two portions that nest with each other, into the upper portion of the first story, when in the retracted state. During expansion, the second story floor can move upward, into its expanded state location, then the roof can lift, unnesting the walls of the second story to form the second story living space. The patio handrails can automatically deploy as the second story is opened. A sliding door, for example, can provide a passage from the second story living space to the patio.

    Abstract: An accordion wall structure includes three primary components, namely two linkage systems and four wall panels. The linkage systems are adeptly positioned both at the upper and lower extremities of each wall panel. The composition of the linkage system is meticulously engineered, featuring gear sets and linkage bars that work in concert to ensure seamless functionality. A hydraulic component can be used for the propulsion of the first link and the subsequent rotation of the initial wall panel. During the rotation of the wall panels, the interconnected gearsets of the linkage systems are consistently aligned generally parallel to the main mount due to their linkage connection. The direct coupling between the gears and the panel ensures synchronous rotation between them. The gearsets of the linkage systems ensure a synchronized rotation of the gears. This coordinated rotation further translates into the simultaneous rotation of the adjacent wall panel.

    Abstract: A sofa bed can solve the problem of where to place a sofa in a smaller space or inside a recreational vehicle. The sofa can be completely flattened out to become a sofa bed. When not needed or when space is limited, the sofa bed can be folded directly against the wall. The sofa bed can include a back support cushion, a seat cushion and a leg rest. The back support and seat cushions can be supported by a frame underneath. A system of spring-loaded rods can be under the leg rest. These parts can be completely flattened or turned into a sofa, with the leg rests covering the frame underneath the sofa. The sofa can be folded to the wall, controlled by hydraulic rods at the bottom. The legs of the sofa bed and the hydraulic rods can be designed to not protrude from the wall when folded.

    Abstract: An electric vehicle chassis includes multiple battery compartments specifically arranged therein. The chassis can include a main structure extending longitudinally along a length of the electric vehicle which it supports. The main structure can include a first, upper main structure battery compartment. A lower main structure frame can be disposed below the first, upper main structure battery compartment to provide a second, lower main structure battery compartment. Side battery compartments can be attached to opposite sides of the main structure frame to provide third and fourth, side battery compartments. Thus, the vehicle chassis can provide four distinctly positioned battery compartments for the placement of batteries for the electric vehicle, providing more battery storage spaces than conventional same-class electric vehicles.

    Abstract: An expandable structure includes an expansion section having walls that can stack into and be deployed from a wall enclosure central housing. Linear actuators can be deployed on the wall enclosure for facilitating the movement of wall panels into and out of the central housing. Each linear actuators can be easily dissembled out of the structure for maintenance or future upgrade. Concurrently, the linear actuators can work in synergy with a precision track system, ensuring the precise displacement of each individual wall panel. This innovative configuration not only enables efficient and accurate storage of each wall panel within the central enclosure but also concurrently serves as the foundational support structure for the cabin.
