    Abstract: Provided are: a flame retardant composition which can impart excellent flame retardancy to a synthetic resin even when added in a small amount; and a flame-retardant synthetic resin composition which contains the flame retardant composition and a resin and exhibits excellent flame retardancy. The flame retardant composition contains components (A) and (B), wherein (A) is a phosphate-based flame retardant, and (B) is a hindered amine compound having a structure represented by Chemical Formula (1) in the structure. In Chemical Formula (1), * represents a bond, and one or more of the structures represented by Chemical Formula (1) optionally exist in the compound.

    Abstract: A composition includes first, second, and third components. The composition preferably includes 0.1 to 50 parts by mass of the third component with respect to 100 parts by mass in total of the first and second components. The first component is at least one type of melamine salt selected from the group consisting of melamine orthophosphate, melamine pyrophosphate, and melamine polyphosphate. The second component is at least one type of piperazine salt selected from the group consisting of piperazine orthophosphate, piperazine pyrophosphate, and piperazine polyphosphate.     Abstract: A transparentization agent composition is a mixture containing 100 parts by mass of a dibenzylidene sorbitol compound represented by a general formula (I) having a particle diameter such that d97 is from 30 μm to 200 μm and 5 to 200 parts by mass of tetrakis[3(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionyloxymethyl]methane, wherein the total for the two components is 50% by mass or more of the mixture. Also disclosed is a method for producing a polypropylene resin composition, including obtaining a polypropylene resin composition in which a dibenzylidene sorbitol compound represented by a general formula (I) having a particle diameter such that d97 is from 30 μm to 200 μm is incorporated in a polypropylene resin, by kneading a mixture containing 100 parts by mass of the polypropylene resin and 0.05 to 2 parts by mass of the dibenzylidene sorbitol compound by using a biaxial extruder at an extrusion temperature of from 220 to 250° C.
