    Abstract: A motor control device includes: a rotation control unit that rotates a rotor of a brushless motor by supplying a power thereto; a rotation direction determining unit that determines a rotation direction of the rotor accompanying the power supplied to the brushless motor by the rotation control unit; and a magnetic pole distinguishing unit that distinguishes magnetic poles of the rotor based on an orientation of a current flowing through each of coils due to the power supplied to the brushless motor by the rotation control unit and the rotation direction of the rotor determined by the rotation direction determining unit.

    Abstract: The braking control device generates braking force by operating an electric motor to press a friction member against a wheel-fixed rotary member. The braking control device includes: a wheel speed sensor detecting wheel speed; a rotation angle sensor detecting a motor rotation angle; a drive circuit driving the motor; and a controller controlling the drive circuit. The controller sets a current limit circle within d-axis/q-axis current characteristics of the motor based on specifications of the drive circuit, calculates a voltage limit circle within the d-axis/q-axis current characteristics based on the rotation angle, executes slip suppression control for reducing the degree of wheel slip based on the wheel speed, calculates d-axis and q-axis target current values based on intersection points of the current limit circle and the voltage limit circle when execution of slip suppression control begins, and controls the drive circuit based on the d-axis and q-axis target current values.

    Abstract: A motor control device includes an acquisition unit that obtains a q-axis current component of a current vector generated when electricity is supplied to a brushless motor to generate a voltage vector along a direction of an estimated d-axis; a correction unit that corrects the direction of the estimated d-axis according to the q-axis current component to approach the direction of the estimated d-axis approach to the direction of the actual d-axis; and a control axis changing unit that changes the estimated d-axis direction by a prescribed angle when a magnitude of the q-axis current component is less than a threshold value by the correction of the direction of the estimated d-axis by the correction unit for the first time after the control axis setting control start or when a magnitude of the q-axis current component is less than the threshold value at the control axis setting control start.
