    摘要: A measurement system with improved data transmission capabilities to enable efficient data transfers in a radio frequency difficult environment. According to the invention two different data transmission protocols are used, each transmitting within its own radio frequency band. The first data transmission protocol is an unsynchronized network where nodes can actively poke a concentrator to get attention. When a node has the concentrator's attention, the concentrator will then switch the node over to a second data transmission protocol which is a time division multiplexing network at a different frequency band. The TDM network is able to selectively and efficiently transfer both small and larger data packets. The concentrator is able to have both networks active at the same time.

    摘要: A hub assembly includes an inner rotatable hub having inboard and outboard axial ends, a radial flange extending outwardly from the outboard axial end and connectable with the wheel, an inner circumferential surface, and an opposing outer circumferential surface providing inboard and outboard inner races. An outer hub is disposed about the inner hub, connectable with the chassis and has inboard and outboard axial ends, an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface. The inner surface provides inboard and outboard outer races and a central surface section extending between the two outer races. First and second sets of rolling elements are disposed between the inner and outer races. One or more sensors are each disposed on the central surface section of the outer hub and are each configured to sense strain within the outer hub generated by the rolling elements.

    摘要: The present invention resides in a sensorized roller of a roller bearing. The sensorized roller includes a roller bore that accommodates a measuring device for measuring deformation of the roller bore and electronics for processing a deformation signal from the measuring device and wirelessly transmitting the processed deformation signal to an external receiver. According to the invention, the measuring device and electronics are mounted in a rigid housing that is shaped to fit within the roller bore. A radially outer surface of the housing includes at least one aperture associated with the measuring device. Furthermore, the rigid housing is resiliently mounted to the roller bore via first and second sealing elements that enclose a radial gap between a radially inner surface of the roller bore and a radially outer surface of the housing.
