    摘要: The invention relates to a centrifugal separator comprising a casing which delimits and seals off a space in which a rotor is arranged. The rotor forms a separation space which is sealed or isolated from the space, and in which separation space centrifugal separation of a higher density and a lower density component from a fluid takes place. An inlet extends into the rotor for introducing fluid to the separation space, and a first outlet extends from the rotor for discharge of a component separated from the fluid. The space is connected to a pump device which is arranged to remove gas, thereby maintaining negative pressure in said space. The rotor comprises at least one second outlet extending from the separation space to the space for discharge of at least one higher density component separated from the fluid. The invention also relates to a method in such a centrifugal separator.

The separating disc is provided with a guiding arrangement including a number of index positions for providing indexing of the separating disc in the disc package in a rotational position. The number of index positions is different than the number of the plurality of distance members.

    摘要: A centrifugal separator includes a frame and a drive member configured to rotate a rotating part in relation to the frame around an axis of rotation. The rotating part includes a centrifuge rotor closing a separation chamber. The separation chamber includes a stack of separation discs arranged coaxially around the axis of rotation at a distance from each other such as to form passages between each two adjacent separation discs. The stack of separation discs includes a first type of separation discs having an outer diameter of A or below, and at least one separation disc of a second type having outer diameter B or above, wherein diameter B is larger than diameter A. At least one of the separation discs of the second type is arranged at a position in the disc stack that is within the upper 15% of the total number of separation discs and at least one of the first type of separation disc is arranged axially above the uppermost separation disc of the second type.

    摘要: The invention relates to a disc package for a centrifugal separator and a centrifugal separator provided with a disc package comprising a first set of separation discs and a second set of separation discs. Each separation disc of the first and second sets are provided with a separation surface with is inclined with respect to the radial direction. The separation discs of the first and second sets are arranged coaxially around an axis of rotation at a distance from each other such that to form passages between each two adjacent separation discs. The separation discs of the first set have outer diameters A or below, and the separation discs of the second set have outer diameters B or above, wherein diameter B is larger than diameter A. At least two separation discs of the first set is arranged between every two separation disc of the second set.

    摘要: A centrifugal separator for separation of particles from a gas stream is disclosed. The centrifugal separator includes a self-supporting frame for mounting inside an existing vessel for guiding the gas stream. The frame comprises a holder configured to hold the frame at a position inside the vessel, and a first partition for dividing the vessel into a first section and a second section. The first section is upstream of the second section. The separator includes a gas inlet communicating with the first section, and a gas outlet communicating with the second section. A centrifugal rotor is arranged to be rotatably supported in the frame around a rotational axis, the rotor having a first and a second end portion and including a plurality of separation plates defining separation passages between the plates. The centrifugal separator is configured such that the first and second sections communicate via the separation passages of the rotor.
