摘要: The technologies described herein are generally directed to, in response to feature activation at an access point, planning and deploying service elements of a network service across transport and core network segments in a fifth generation (5G) network or other next generation networks. For example, a method described herein can include receiving a request to implement a network service in a network that includes access point equipment connected via a transport segment to a core network segment. The method can further include, based on the request, selecting deployment locations in the network for service elements to enable the network service, with an element of the service elements being selected to be deployed at a deployment location. Further, the method can include deploying the service element at the selected deployment location.

摘要: A method for searching for information in a relational database includes: identifying a subset of attributes from attributes for each record in the relational database, the subset of attributes including a plurality of search attributes and a plurality of search summary attributes; extracting, via a processor, the subset of identified attributes from each record; creating in a cloud-based non-relational database platform an index instance corresponding to each record in the relational database, wherein each index instance in the cloud-based non-relational database includes the subset of identified attributes indexed to a corresponding record in the relational database; and in response to receiving a search request that includes one or more search attributes, searching the index instances in the cloud-based non-relational database for corresponding records in the relational database; and providing search results that include information from the corresponding records in the relational database, wherein the information is associated with the plurality of search summary attributes.

摘要: A software defined network (SDN) can add network repository functions (NRF) into a configurations database to enable NF discovery. The SDN can subscribe to NRF notifications to receive new cloud native functions (CNF), registrations, or any other update to the CNF status in 5G system. In addition to listening to NRF notifications, the SDN can implement CNF pooling processes to periodically retrieve CNF from an NRF repository and stay in sync with 5G systems. Thus, a deep service path discovery can be developed from network service configurations and container call flows to enable an accurate alarm correlation and troubleshooting for the operations. This service path deep discovery can be designed and implemented as a standalone system or in an SDN framework with integration of a container management framework such as K8 kubernetes.

摘要: The current disclosure facilitates the use of intelligent remote radio unites via the use of microservices and modems to make the radio head intelligent. If an enhanced common public radio interface (eCPRI) link is down, the radio head can communicate over the air via the wireless network to an operations, administration and maintenance (OAM) network. Thus, if the microservice is located at the radio head, the microservice can continuously monitor the radio head and evaluate its status. The microservice can then use this information to determine a status (e.g., latency, latency time, or the like) of the radio head and provide that information to the OAM. The microservice can facilitate rebooting or restarting of the radio head and/or run additional testing and/or measures on the link and/or the port of the radio head and provide that information over the air.

摘要: A dark fiber dense wavelength division multiplexing service path design microservice (ddSPDmS) can provide a scalable self-contained meta-data driven approach for a flexible implementation of a dark fiber dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) service path design solution. The service plan design solution can be used as a standalone solution or integrated with a network management application. In order to manage a large volume of circuit designs, multiple microservices can accept application program interface (API) requests in a cloud environment. Permission can then be given to any application to use the API to make a call to the design and inventory. Additionally, metadata templates can be designed to support a node, a link, and/or a topology for the microservices.
