    Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a base station from a first mobile device, where the first data request is associated with first data of a first data type. The method includes, based on the first data type of the first data, transmitting the first data to the first mobile device. The method includes receiving, at the base station, second data, where the second data has a second data type different than the first data type. The second data is associated with a second data request originated by a second mobile device different than the first mobile device. Information associated with the second data request is received by the server from a different base station and sent to the base station based on the second data type of the second data. The method also includes transmitting the second data to the second mobile device.

    Abstract: Example embodiments relate to spectrum resource sharing management. A first mobile network operator (MNO) network device receives a request for network access from a UE operable to communicate with network devices of a first mobile network operator. The first MNO network device determines whether it has enough bandwidth to meet the UE's request, by determining whether a threshold level of utilization of frequencies in a first frequency range allocated to the first MNO network has been met. In response to a determination that the threshold level has been met, the first MNO network device transmits an electronic token to a second MNO network device in a coverage region of the network device, wherein the electronic token is indicative of a request for authorization to use a frequency in a frequency range that is allocated to a second MNO. The second MNO network device can transmit an authorization for the first MNO network device to use the frequency.

    Abstract: A system for providing a distributed architecture for mobile streaming content delivery is disclosed. In particular, the system may include bypassing a master head end facility and its accompanying fiber distribution network to deliver a content stream directly to mobile cell sites. In order to do so, the system may receive, at a cell cite, a content stream directly from a content satellite and then format the content into a format suitable for delivery to a subscriber device. The system may receive, such as via a radio access network, a request from the subscriber device to access the content stream. In response to the request from the subscriber device, the system may deliver the formatted content stream to the subscriber device. The distributed architecture may also allow for delivering the content stream jointly with voice data services, such as those provided in a Long-Term Evolution network or other network.

    Abstract: An adaptive SINR control process is triggered based on various quality measures associated with the received signal in a mobile device or on a geographic region in which a base station and an interferer are located. As part of the adaptive SINR control process, the mobile device reduces the signal level of the received signal, which reduces both the signal strength of the desired signal and the interfering signal. If the control process is triggered on the mobile device side, after detecting the presence of interference, the mobile device sends a request that the base station increase its transmit power of the desired signal to improve the receiving SINR in the mobile device. Alternatively, the mobile device may receive information from the base station causing the mobile device to reduce the signal level of the received signal based on quality indicators sent by the mobile device to the base station or based on geographic location of the base station.

    Abstract: Mobile service anchor management (MSAM) is facilitated. MSAM is an anchor management function/system for radio frequency (RF) access configuration/reconfiguration over the downlink, and uplink separated novel frequency division duplex systems. One method comprises determining, by a MSAM system comprising a processor, that a mobile device communicatively coupled to a first network device is associated with a region in which the first network device fails to have line of sight communication with the mobile device; and assigning, by the mobile service anchor management system, the mobile device to a second network device determined to have the line of sight communication for the region. Millimeter watt (mmW) BS devices and devices that operate on other RF bands can be utilized.

    Abstract: Internet protocol session continuity can be achieved via an access point registration process. Mobile devices near an access point device that has registered with a base station device can offload wireless communication from the base station device to the access point device. The access point device can be a known access point device that can be secured and subject to session continuity policies of a service provider. The session continuity policies can be stored at a content handover processor, which can oversee the handover processes between the base station device and the mobile device.
