摘要: A monitoring patch including a substrate having an adhesive surface and a plurality of sensors disposed in and/or on the substrate. In some embodiments, the plurality of sensors may include one or more sensors arranged to measure oxygen saturation, a lactate sensor, and one or more impedance cardiography electrodes. In some embodiments, the plurality of sensors may include an accelerometer and a strain gauge, and may be free of at least one sensor of a sensor arranged to measure oxygen saturation, a lactate sensor, or an impedance cardiography electrode.

摘要: Systems and method are disclosed involving a pump control module configured to control an intravascular blood pump and display information about the intravascular blood pump, and a blood monitoring module configured to derive a value of a blood parameter from information received about a blood sample, such as information received from a blood monitoring sensor, and display the value of the blood parameter on the first display screen and/or on a second display screen. The system and method may also include predicting other parameters based on, e.g., the information received from the blood sample. The predictions may include, e.g., predictions of heart failure or bleeding events.

摘要: A perfusion sheath with covered perfusion apertures. The covers each have a pull affixed thereto. The pull is used to remove a perfusion aperture cover from a perfusion aperture when the perfusion sheath is deployed in a patient. The perfusion sheath is deployed in the patient through an arteriotomy. When deployed the pull or pulls extend out of the arteriotomy. Exerting a tension on the pulls causes the pull to tear away the perfusion aperture cover from the perfusion aperture. The perfusion sheath has a plurality of perfusion apertures, each positioned to provide limb perfusion, when the cover is removed for different depths of arteriotomy. Once the perfusion sheath is deployed, the pull is tensioned to remove the cover from a selected perfusion aperture that will provide limb perfusion for the depth of the arteriotomy.

摘要: Methods of using an intracardiac blood pump in association with medical procedures. In some cases, patients may be turned down for a medical procedure based on a risk that the procedure itself may cause the patient to experience a cardiac event during and/or following the procedure. In some examples, an intracardiac blood pump may be used to support the heart before, during, and/or after the medical procedure so as to minimize such risks, and thus enable the patient to receive critical treatment that might otherwise be denied.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for controlling operation of a mechanical circulatory support (MCS) device to facilitate recovery of native heart function in a patient within which the MCS device is implanted are provided. The method includes controlling a pump of the MCS device to operate in first mode, obtaining one or more first cardiac values associated with the patient during operation of the MCS device, determining, based at least in part, on the obtained one or more first cardiac values to transition operation of the MCS device to a second mode, and controlling the pump of the MCS device to operate in the second mode when it is determined to transition operation of the MCS device to the second mode.
