    摘要: What is described is a burner system with a premix burner (1), in which is provided at least one vortex generator (2), through which passes an air-containing gaseous main flow (ZL) which flows axially through the premix burner (1) and into which gaseous and/or liquid fuel is injected, downstream of the vortex generator (2), as a secondary flow for generating a fuel/air mixture, and with a combustion chamber (5) which adjoins the premix burner (1) downstream of the latter and has a combustion chamber cross section (C2) which is larger than the flow cross section (C1), delimited by the premix burner (1), directly upstream of the combustion chamber (5). The invention is distinguished in that, between the premix burner (1) and the combustion chamber (5), a flow duct (10) is provided, delimited by side walls which create a gradual transition between the flow cross section (C1) and the combustion chamber cross section (C2), and in that upstream, within and/or downstream of the flow duct (10) is provided at least one flow stall structure (11), by means of which the fuel/air mixture passing through the flow duct (10) is separated locally from the side wall of the flow duct (10).

    摘要: In heat generators and burners, it is frequently necessary to realize discontinuous cross-sectional expansions of a flow duct. When the flow (U) passes over the step (10) formed in the wall (8) of the flow duct, coherent lateral separation vortices form which are propagated almost undamped downstream of the step and frequently represent the cause of thermo-acoustic vibrations of high amplitude. In accordance with the invention, vortex-generating elements (20) with a lateral pitch dimension (t) are arranged on a line transverse to the main flow (U) a distance (s) upstream of the step (10). Given an expedient selection of the pitch dimension (t), the lateral coherence of the separation vortex is enduringly destroyed.

    摘要: A modification method for reducing emissions from an annular shaped combustor of a gas turbine plant, having uniformly spaced circumferentially mounted premix burners (20), includes the steps of: removing at least one burner (20), thereby disrupting the spatial uniformity of the remaining the burners (20); and modifying the combustor air distribution system so as to compensate for the increased burner pressure drop of the remaining burners, thus enabling the modified combustor to operate at a load equivalent to the unmodified combustor. Emission reduction is enabled by the increase in the gas velocity of the burner for a given load further enabled by the flame stabilizing effect of disrupting the spatial uniformity.

    摘要: An exemplary burner arrangement and method for operating a burner arrangement are disclosed. During operation of the burner arrangement a hot combustion gas, including combustion air, flows essentially parallel to a burner wall through a mixing chamber, which is delimited by the burner wall, to a combustion chamber. In the mixing chamber the hot combustion gas is mixed with an injected fuel, where cooling air from the outside of the burner wall flows through effusion holes in the burner wall into an interior of the mixing chamber. The cooling air, on the outside of the burner wall, is deflected in a directed manner in its flow direction by means of deflection elements which are in a distributed arrangement.
