    摘要: An adhesive layer is provided on a base material in the shape of an elongated film, powder particles are adhered thereon, and then other powder particles and media vibrated in a container are contacted with this adhesive layer. Next, the powder particles are embedded on the surface of the adhesive layer as a monolayer in which part of the powder particle protrudes, so as to form a laminate, and excess powder particles adhered to the laminate are removed. Therefore, a monolayer powder film, consisting of many powder particles embedded as a monolayer so that part thereof protrudes, is produced.

    摘要: The invention provides an optical sheet suitable for use in displays such as LCD and EL and having good light transmission property and diffusiveness and moreover possessing excellent durability that the optical properties of the optical sheet can be retained even under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions. The optical sheet has a transparent substrate and a binder layer laminated directly or through another layer on the transparent substrate, wherein spherical fine particles having a particle diameter distribution of from 0.8 to 1.0 are embedded in a state of a monoparticle layer in the binder layer so as to partly project from the surface of the binder layer, and a distance from the top of the projected fine particles to the surface of the transparent substrate is from 100% to 110% of the volume average particle diameter of the spherical fine particles.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a low reflection member for use in image display devices such as a liquid crystal display (LCD), a plasma display (PDP), a CRT, and an El. The low reflection member includes a transparent substrate and a low refractive index layer having a refractive index lower than that of the substrate. The low refractive index layer comprises a cured product of a mixture containing a hydrolyzable silane compound and/or hydrolyzed product thereof, and a cure-promoting component selected from phosphoric acids, sulfonic acids, and silicon dioxide flux. The low reflection member has a refractive index low enough to exhibit an anti-reflection effect, is fabricated at relatively low temperatures by solvent coating using common solvents, and has high adhesion and anti-scratching property.

    摘要: The reversible heat-sensitive recording medium having a heat-sensitive recording layer capable of reversibly changing the transparency thereof with organic low molecular substances dispersed in an organic macromolecular resin provided on a support is characterized by using at least one long chain alkyl-containing compound having a melting point of 50.degree.-100.degree. C. and at least one saturated aliphatic bisamide having a melting point of not less than 110.degree. C. as the organic low molecular substance in a ratio of 98:2 to 80:20. A plasticizer may be contained in the organic macromolecular resin in a ratio of 1 to 10% by weight, based on the total solid of the heat-sensitive recording layer.

    摘要: An anisotropic light diffusion adhesive layer includes an adhesive material, and an acicular filler whose refractive index is different from that of the adhesive material, wherein the acicular filler is dispersed as oriented substantially in the same direction. It is desirable for the acicular filler to be colorless or white colored. An anisotropic light diffusion adhesive laminated assembly may also be manufactured by adhering together several such anisotropic light diffusion adhesive layers. This anisotropic light diffusion adhesive layer and anisotropic light diffusion adhesive laminated assembly may suitably be employed as an illumination device such as a backlight for a liquid crystal display device or the like.
