摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an image output device capable of performing a screen switching without causing a user to feel discomfort or anxiety. An in-vehicle image output device 101 receives moving image data from a content storing section 110 via a communication section 102, and the received moving image data is decoded in a decoding section 103. An effect processing controlling section 106 calculates, as an effect processing execution time, a time period required from when an instruction to reproduce the moving image data is received to when the reproduction of the moving image data starts, and causes an effect processed image generating section 107 to generate an image in which a current screen is shifted to a subsequent screen. After displaying the effect processed image, the control section 105 changes an output so as to display an image of the moving image data.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to display or generate a map image which is easy for a moving user to intuitively understand. In an image providing system, an image generation apparatus 2 is connected to an image pickup apparatus 1, which is externally provided, so as to communicate with each other, and an image display apparatus 3 is connected to the image generation apparatus 2 so as to communicate with each other. The image display apparatus 3 displays a first map image of a moving object having the image display apparatus itself mounted thereon, and the vicinity of the moving object by using a display section 34. A communication section 35 requests a point-of-view converted image from the image generation apparatus 2 by notifying an point-of-view angle and a line-of-sight direction of the displayed first map image. A central processing section 33 of the image generation apparatus 2 generates the point-of-view converted image by converting a point-of-view angle and a line-of-sight direction of a taken image acquired by the image pickup apparatus 1 so as to match the point-of-view angle and the line-of-sight direction, respectively, of the first map image, in response to a request from the communication section 35. The communication section 35 transmits, to the image display apparatus 3, the point-of-view converted image generated by the central processing section 33. The display section 34 of the image display apparatus 3 displays a second map image in which the point-of-view converted image is superimposed on the first map image.

摘要: A transmitter is capable of compressing an incoming image with a relatively small delay time and transmit the compressed image data to a receiver. Image data contains at least i pixel values of pixels arranged in line along a single direction, each pixel value being expressed in n bits. A transmitter for compressing such image data and transmitting the image data to a receiver via a transmission path includes a blocking section, a data compression section, and a data sending section. The blocking section takes every p pixel values among the i pixel values in the image data to form a data block, and sequentially outputs a plurality of the data blocks each including the p pixel values. The data compression section reduces an amount of data from each data block outputted from the blocking section and thereby outputs a compressed block. The data sending section sends the compressed block outputted from the data compression section onto the transmission path.

摘要: The present invention provide a transmission system comprising a transmission apparatus for transmitting audio data of multi channels and auxiliary data required for playback of the audio data, and a receiving apparatus for receiving the audio data and the auxiliary data which are transmitted by the transmission apparatus. A multiplexer of the transmission apparatus creates block data that is composed of 8 frames, and first 1 byte of each frame is allocated to a header having Sync, OE and the like, the second byte is allocated to the auxiliary data including AUX data and copyright protect information, and remaining bytes are used to transmit the audio data. An encryptor carries out an encryption process for the second and later bytes of each frame, and a communication means outputs encrypted data. A communication means of the receiving apparatus receives the encrypted data from the transmission apparatus, a decoder decodes the encrypted data, and a demultiplexer demultiplexes the audio data and the auxiliary data. Therefore, this transmission system transmits multi-channel audio data of the DVD-Audio or the like efficiently on a transmission line using fixed length frames according to the MOST method, and takes measures for copyright protection of audio data.
