摘要： A recording medium changer includes a plurality of storage trays that are arranged in alignment in a predetermined direction and each store a recording medium, and a conveying mechanism that is movable in an alignment direction of the plurality of storage trays and conveys a recording medium. The plurality of storage trays are rotatable about an axis extending in the alignment direction of the storage trays. At the time of rotation of each of the storage trays, the conveying mechanism is held in a movement preparing position retracted in the alignment direction from the storage tray that is being rotated. Each of the storage trays has a movement cutout for forming at least a part of a movement space through which the conveying mechanism is moved.

摘要： A recording and/or playback apparatus of a dislike recording medium, such as optical disk, is equipped with a receiving portion, a recording and/or playback portion, an ejecting operation mechanism, a loading mechanism, and a positioning mechanism. In the receiving portion, a plurality of supporting portions supporting respective peripheral ends of a plurality of disklike recording media are formed in an annular form, and an opening portion is formed on the supporting portion. The recording and/or playback portion conducts recording and/or playback of the disklike recording media. The ejecting operation mechanism penetrates from the opening portion of the receiving portion and ejects a desired disklike recording medium out of the disklike recording media, from the supporting portion. The loading mechanism takes out the desired disklike recording medium, which has been ejected from the supporting portion by the ejecting operation mechanism, from the receiving portion and loads the desired disklike recording medium onto the recording and/or playback portion. The positioning mechanism rotates the receiving portion and makes the desired disklike recording medium and the loading mechanism oppose to each other.

摘要： A disc loading device for loading discs of different diameters on a disc rotating driving device provided within a outer casing is disclosed. The discs are the recording media on which information signals are pre-recorded or are to be recorded. The disc loading device includes a supporting base provided with the disc rotating driving device for rotationally driving the discs, and a disc transporting tray for holding and transporting the discs. The disc transporting tray is arranged above the supporting base and is movable between a position in which it is drawn into an outer casing containing the supporting base and a position in which it is drawn out of the outer casing. The disc transporting tray includes a first positioning recess for holding and positioning the disc having a first diameter, a second positioning recess for holding and positioning the disc having a second diameter lesser than the first diameter, and a third positioning recess for holding and positioning the disc having a third diameter lesser than the second diameter to enable the three types of the discs having respective different diameters to be loaded selectively on the disc rotating driving device.

摘要： A disk player capable of selectively reproducing a plurality of optical disks includes a rotary table, a reproducing mechanism, a supporting member and a drive mechanism. The rotary table includes a plurality of concave portions on which a plurality of disk-like recording mediums are set. The reproducing mechanism includes a disk rotation drive portion for rotating the disk and a head for reading out an information signal from the disk. The supporting member includes the reproducing mechanism. The supporting member is moved between an elevated position at which the disk is rotated by the disk rotation drive portion and in which an information is reproduced from the disk by the head and a lowered position at which the disk rotation drive portion is detached from the disk-like recording medium. The drive mechanism drives the rotary table and the supporting member. The drive mechanism includes a Geneva gear provided at the rotation center of the rotary table and a rotary drive portion for rotating the Geneva gear. The rotary drive portion includes an operation portion for moving the supporting member between the elevated position and the lowered position.
