    摘要: A fiber composite material which is particularly suitable for aircraft construction, includes anorganic mineral fibers embedded or enclosed in a metal matrix. The mineral fibers include a substantial or dominant proportion of SiO2, and/or Al2O3 and/or Fe2O3, the remainder being rock material. The fibers have a length of at least 10 mm and are oriented in parallel to one another in at least one direction. The metal matrix is made of aluminum or aluminum alloys, or of magnesium or magnesium alloys or of titanium or of titanium alloys. These matrix metal alloys contain a substantial or dominant proportion of the respective metal. The fibers are preferably coated with particles of the matrix metal and bonded to one another to form fiber films or fiber sheets which are then laminated between sheets of matrix metal.

    摘要: A structural element includes the following elements: a carrier element, a reinforcing element, and a sheathing element. At least a portion of the reinforcing element is enveloped by the sheathing element and the reinforcing element is embedded in the carrier element. Materials of the elements are selected to inhibit crack initiation or propagation in the elements and/or from one element to another. An intermediate layer of a different material may be added between elements to further inhibit crack initiation and propagation and to inhibit corrosion, such as galvanic corrosion.

    摘要: A seat mounting rail suitable for mounting passenger seats to a floor, for example an aircraft cabin floor, is divided into an upper section for securing a seat and a lower section for mounting the rail to the floor. The upper section is preferably made of a titanium alloy. The lower section is preferably made of an aluminum alloy. Both sections are connected to each other by an interconnection preferably in the form of a metallurgical bond formed under heat and pressure. A bonding metal foil compatible with the metals of which the rail sections are made is used for enhancing the bonding strength of the interconnection.

    摘要: A metallic layer material includes at least two metal sheets. Each sheet has a thickness of less than 1.5 mm. Between the sheets, a plastic layer is disposed, which is bonded to the metal sheets. The plastic layer comprises a plastic material and basalt fibers, and the basalt fibers have a modulus of elasticity exceeding 50 GPa. The basalt fibers may constitute 35-75% of the volume of the plastic layer. and may be comprised of 35-55 weight % of SiO2, 10-25 weight % of Al2O3, and 3-10 weight % of MgO. In aerospace applications and other applications requiring good specific strength, stiffness and damage tolerance, the metal sheets may be made of a metal having a tensile strength exceeding 0.20 GPa.
