摘要: A nickel base superalloy comprising 14.0 to 20.0 wt % cobalt, 13.5 to 17.0 wt % chromium, 2.5 to 4.0 wt % aluminium, 3.4 to 5.0 wt % titanium, 0 to 3.0 wt % tantalum, 3.8 to 5.5 wt % molybdenum, 0.035 to 0.07 wt % carbon, 0.01 to 0.04 wt % boron, 0.055 to 0.075 wt % zirconium, 0 to 0.4 wt % hafnium and the balance nickel plus incidental impurities. The nickel base superalloy is suitable for use as gas turbine engine high pressure compressor rotor discs or turbine discs. It is capable of operation at temperatures above 700° C. and has good fatigue crack propagation resistance, creep resistance and tensile strength.

Additionally or alternatively, the emissive layer may include a metal-ligand complex in which the ligand is an aryl or alkyl substituted phenylpyridine ligand.

摘要: An organic light emitting device is provided. The device has an anode, a cathode, and an emissive layer disposed between the anode and the cathode. The emissive layer further comprises an emissive material having the structure: wherein M is a metal having an atomic weight greater than 40; ring A is an aromatic heterocyclic or a fused aromatic heterocyclic ring with at least one nitrogen atom that is coordinated to the metal M, wherein the ring A can be optionally substituted; (X—Y) is an ancillary ligand; m is a value from 1 to the maximum number of ligands that may be attached to the metal; and m+n is the maximum number of ligands that may be attached to the metal. The emissive material itself is also provided. The emissive material may have improved efficiency and stability when incorporated into a light emitting device.

摘要: A beverage preparation apparatus for preparation of a beverage from a capsule in a clamp assembly (30). The clamp assembly has a first clamp member (31) and a second clamp member, where the inner surfaces of the first clamp member and the second clamp member form a clamp chamber (33) for substantially enclosing and supporting a capsule (10) during beverage preparation. The second clamp member comprises a rigid peripheral frame (32) having a central void and a resilient layer (37) extending across said central void. There is a piston (36) positioned in the central void and resiliently coupled to the peripheral frame (32) to allow limited resilient movement of the rigid peripheral frame (32) relative to the piston (36).
