A further exemplary feature includes parsing text of the received message for text that is redundant of text of the stored message, determining that a minimum threshold of consecutive matching characters has been reached, and displaying the received message with the consecutive matching characters at least partially hidden from view.

摘要： A unified communication application can allow a user to communicate with contacts across multiple electronic communication services. When the user desires to send a message, the communication application can identify a set of candidate account addresses associated with several electronic communication services in response to receiving a partial identifier of an intended recipient. The communication application can present a list including the set of candidate account addresses to the user. In response to receiving a user selection of one of the candidate account addresses, the communication application can determine a sender account from which to send the message.

摘要： Calendar scheduling systems are described. In one embodiment, a client system receives an input, within a calendar application program, to schedule an event, the input specifying at least one of the event, a representation of a location for the event, or metadata of a physical facility at the location, and the client system transmits the input to a calendar server to determine an availability of at least one physical facility at the location and receives and presents data specifying the availability of at least one physical facility at the location. The client system may further cause an invitation to be sent to attendees of the event. Other systems and other methods are also described.

摘要： A first device and a second device communicate with each other using a first communications protocol over a first communications media. The first device detects a need to modify a communications bandwidth with the second device based on an operating condition of the first device at a point in time. The first device negotiates with the second device to identify a second communications protocol that is suitable for the operating condition based on a set of one or more rules associated with the first device. Both the first and second devices switch, without user intervention, from the first communications protocol to the second communications protocol to communicate with the second device using the second communications protocol over a second communications media.

摘要： A graphical user interface (GUI) for a unified software update display center is provided. The GUI includes a first display area for displaying a set of available security system software updates. The GUI includes a second display area for displaying a set of available non-security system software updates. The GUI includes a third display area for displaying a set of available application software updates. The GUI includes a single selection tool for installing all available security updates without installing any updates displayed in the second and third display areas. The GUI includes individual selection tools for installing individual updates displayed in the second and third display areas. The GUI includes a selection tool to receive further updates from a system update server and an application update server. The critical security updates are displayed with different display attributes or in different sections to distinguish them from other types of updates.
