    摘要: A process for producing a starch comprises treating a feed starch that comprises amylopectin with glucanotransferase to produce a chain-extended starch, and treating the chain-extended starch with a debranching enzyme to produce a starch product that comprises amylose fragments. In certain embodiments, the process further comprises, crystallizing at least part of the starch product, heating the starch product in the presence of moisture, treating the starch product with alpha-amylase, and washing the starch product to remove at least some non-crystallized starch, wherein the degree of polymerization of the starch product is increased by increasing the amylose content of the feed starch or is decreased by decreasing the amylose content of the feed starch. The product of this process can have a relatively high total dietary fiber content, a relatively high heat resistance, or both.

    摘要: We disclose a composition comprising greater than about 95% d.s.b. of a starch comprising short chain amylose having an average degree of polymerization (DP) from about 20 to about 150, wherein an aqueous slurry comprising about 20% d.s.b. of the composition has a minimum yield stress of at least 400 Pa. We also disclose a method of preparing the composition comprising contacting a starch paste with a 4-α-glucanotransferase, to yield a chain-extended starch; contacting the chain-extended starch with a debranching enzyme, to yield a debranched starch; crystallizing the debranched starch, to yield a crystallized debranched starch; and shearing the crystallized debranched starch, to yield the composition. We also disclose a food formulation comprising a foodstuff and the composition.

    摘要: The invention comprises an improved mastectomy bra specifically adapted for a female having a single mastectomy. The bra comprises a left and a right bra element, each being an independent and separate article. Each of the left and right bra elements comprises a bra cup and a chest band secured to the bra cup for encircling the chest of the female. A bra clasp is diposed in at least one of the chest bands enabling one of the bra elements to be completely removed to expose the breast of the female while simultaneously enabling the other of the bra elements to remain in place to cover the prosthesis of the female.
