摘要: In a system for performing imaging measurement of a test object by mounting many optical fibers to the test object, incident positions of the test object on which to illuminate light, detection positions of the test object from which to detect light and measurement positions which are determined from a positional relationship between the incident positions and the detection positions are displayed as graphic elements on a display unit. A state of detection signal level or a change in the state is displayed as a change in color or in pattern of the graphic element. Further, incident optical fibers for illuminating light to the test object and detection optical fibers for detecting light from the test object are mounted to the test object, and light emitting elements are mounted to probes to be mounted to the test object and interlocked with the change of the graphic elements.

摘要: Optical measurement that is optimum for improving spatial resolution is accomplished by making it possible to estimate a physical quantity of an object substance to be measured at any point on a subject. When any position to be evaluated, in an image shown in a window 1-1, is pointed and selected a mouse pointer 1-4, the value of the concentration or its change of the object substance at the point is displayed in the display area 1-7 of a window 1-3. The drawings represents an example in which one position is specified and there are two object substances to be measured. The value of the concentration or its change of each object substance to be measured is separately displayed.

摘要: It has long been unclear in what degree the brain should be activated and how much the blood volume should be varied for controlling a signal by measuring the concentration of metabolic substance in the tissue or change of concentration thereof using the light and by using the result of measurement. The present invention provides an optical measuring system which can present the concentration of metabolic substance in the tissue which may be detected with a subject by itself or the target value of change of the concentration. Thereby, it is now possible for the subject by itself to more easily detect and control the concentration of metabolic substance in the tissue or change of concentration thereof. As a result, cerebral information can be extracted in direct to realize various applications such as control of the game machines and welfare facilities.
