    摘要: Multiple injection holes are formed in an injection hole plate. Each injection hole penetrates the injection hole plate. The injection hole is formed with an inlet side opening and an outlet side opening. The outlet side opening is formed in the shape of a flattened rectangle having a major axis and a minor axis. Therefore, the fuel flowing into the injection hole through the inlet side opening is injected in the shape of a film from the outlet side opening. Thus, liquid film splitting is promoted, so atomization of the fuel is promoted. Since the multiple injection holes are formed in the injection hole plate, the shape of a great fuel spray, which is formed by combining fuel sprays injected from the respective injection holes, can be adjusted easily.

    摘要: An injector has a lift limiting member provided by a single plate member. The plate member has a stopper face, multiple hole sections, a flow passage hole, and a spring seat face. An axial end face of a needle head section of a needle contacts the stopper face when the needle lifts by a predetermined amount. Transmitting sections of a pressurizing piston are loosely inserted in the hole sections. High pressure fuel can pass through the flow passage hole. The spring seat face receives an end portion of a spring that biases the needle in a valve closing direction. The lift limiting member limits a valve opening lift position of the needle, so a stable injection quantity is obtained. Thus, a surface area of the single plate member can be used in multiple functions.

    摘要: A fuel injection valve includes a valve body having a valve seat, a valve element adapted to sit on and leave a valve seat, a nozzle hole for the injection of fuel, and an electromagnetic drive section. A holding member surrounds and holds, on one end side thereof, at least a partial area of an opposite-to-nozzle-hole-side end face portion of the valve element. The holding member surrounds and holds, on an opposite end side thereof, a predetermined surface area of a constant position holding portion without being influenced by the pressure of fuel flowing through a fuel passage of the valve body and irrespective of movement of the valve element. An internal area of the holding member is shut off so as not to be influenced by the pressure of fuel present around the internal area.

The surface potential of the photosensitive drum, which is generated due to operation of the charging portion and the exposure light source portion or the like, is measured by a potential measuring probe which is, together with the charged portion and the exposure light source portion and the like, secured adjacent to a position of the photosensitive drum, at which light is applied at the shortest distance from the exposure light source portion. The photosensitive drum is moved along its lengthwise direction so that the surface potential of the photosensitive drum is measured by the potential measuring probe.

    摘要: A piston can reciprocate in a piston guide cylinder in an axial direction and has a cavity on a piezo driver side thereof. If the piezo driver is energized, a tip of a projecting section of a pushing member pushes a bottom wall of the piston defining the cavity. If fuel pressure of a pressure control chamber increases via a pressurization chamber and a communication passage due to pressurization by the piston, a needle moves in a valve-opening direction against a first compression coil spring. Since the piston has the cavity, a movable mass of the piston is reduced while securing axial length of a sliding section. Thus, fuel leak from the sliding section between the piston and the piston guide cylinder can be suppressed, and an inertial resistance caused in the piston can be reduced.
