    摘要: A refrigeration system, in particular a transport refrigeration system, comprising: a refrigerant circuit, which in particular works using CO2 as the refrigerant and in which there is guided a total mass flow of the refrigerant; a high-pressure-side heat exchanger arranged in the refrigerant circuit and cooling refrigerant compressed to a high pressure; at least one cooling stage which expands the principal mass flow from the intermediate-pressure collector to a low pressure in at least one cooling expansion member and in so doing makes refrigeration capacity available at a low-pressure-side heat exchanger; and a refrigerant compressor unit which compresses the principal mass flow from a low pressure to a high pressure, wherein the refrigerant compressor unit has a first compressor stage for compressing, to a medium pressure, the refrigerant of the principal mass flow supplied at low pressure, and a second compressor stage for compressing, to a high pressure, the refrigerant of the principal mass flow that has been compressed to a medium pressure.

    摘要: A local antenna system for generating and receiving circularly-polarized, high-frequency magnetic fields in a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging apparatus has two coil groups disposed to define an examination volume therebetween, with each coil group having two coils therein, with each coil having a middle axis disposed at an angle substantially less than 90.degree. relative to the middle axis of the other coil in that group. The coil groups are disposed relative to the examination volume so that each coil in a coil group has a diagonally disposed counterpart coil in the other coil group. When the diagonally coils are respectively fed with currents which are phase-shifted by 90.degree. relative to each other, they respectively generate circularly-polarized high-frequency magnetic fields in the examination volume which are in-phase. In a reception mode, the signals induced in the diagonally disposed coils are superimposed in-phase.

    摘要: A power supply for an elevator drive includes a voltage input, a comparator for comparing the input voltage with a predetermined threshold, a transformer having a primary winding and a secondary winding connected to the elevator drive. The transformer has a single tapped primary winding. When the input voltage exceeds the predetermined threshold input, the comparator output causes power to be supplied to the primary winding via one of an end of the winding or the tapping of the winding, and when the input voltage is below the predetermined threshold, input power is supplied to the primary winding via the other of the end of the primary winding and the tapping of the winding.
