摘要: The invention relates to a composition comprising at least 10 wt. % of a binder based on calcium sulfate and 0.005 to 5 wt. % of an additive made of at least one water-soluble salt of a multivalent metal cation, at least one compound which is capable of releasing an anion that forms a poorly soluble salt together with the multivalent metal cation, and at least one polymer dispersant which comprises anionic and/or anionogenic groups and polyether side chains. The invention further relates to a method for producing said composition and to the use thereof as a calcium sulfate flow screed, a flowable calcium sulfate filler compound, or an earth-moist calcium sulfate screed.

摘要: Water-dispersible polymer powder composition for use as additive in cementing in subterranean formations comprising at least particles of a styrene-butadiene polymer, a water-soluble polymer, and a non-ionic emulsifier, wherein the styrene-butadiene polymer particles are at least partly covered by and/or embedded in a composition comprising at least the water-soluble polymer, process of making such compositions, by spray-drying an aqueous dispersion comprising said particles of a styrene-butadiene polymer and a water-soluble polymer, wherein at least one non-ionic emulsifier is added before or after spray-drying, and the use of such water-dispersible polymer powder compositions for cementing in subterranean formations penetrated by at least a well bore.

摘要: Provided herein are dispersible copolymer powders and asphalt compositions comprising the same. The dispersible copolymer powders comprise a core polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 40° C. or less and a shell comprising a water soluble protective colloid polymer having a Tg of 50° C. or greater. The core polymer can be derived from a vinyl aromatic monomer, a 1,3-diene monomer, and optionally one or more ethylenically-unsaturated monomers. The protective colloid polymer can be selected from a polyvinyl alcohol, a polyvinyl pyrrolidone, a polysaccharide, other water soluble polymers, or a combination thereof. Methods of preparing a styrene-butadiene modified asphalt without significantly increasing the viscosity, comprising adding the dispersible copolymer powder to an asphalt composition, wherein the addition of the copolymer polymer increases the viscosity of the asphalt by 100% or less at 135° C. within 2 hours of mixing are also described herein.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a calcium silicate hydrate-comprising hardening accelerator in powder form, which comprises the steps of (a) providing an aqueous suspension comprising calcium silicate hydrate; (b) mixing at least one calcium compound, selected from calcium acetate, calcium formate, calcium hydroxide, calcium oxide, and mixtures of two or more of said compounds, with the aqueous suspension comprising calcium silicate hydrate; and (c) drying the resulting mixture. The invention also relates to the hardening accelerator obtainable by this method, to the use thereof, and to building material mixtures which comprise the hardening accelerator.

摘要: The invention relates to a polymer which is obtainable by copolymerizing monomers comprising at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer which comprises at least one acid group and at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer (II) having polyether groups with 5 to 35 repeating units and at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer (III) having polyether groups with 45 to 150 repeating units, the molar ratio of monomer (II) to monomer (III) being between 75:25 and 99.5:0.5. Further disclosed are the use of the polymer of the invention as an admixture for inorganic binder compositions, and a composition in powder form comprising an inorganic binder and the polymer of the invention.
