Abstract: A strippable masking or resist coating for preventing metal deposition on a thermoplastic surface is in the form of vinyltoluene-butadiene copolymer applied to the surface. The copolymer is readily removable by means of a solvent which does not dissolve or otherwise affect the thermoplastic substrate.
