    摘要： A subscriber unit that supports more than one voice service option and selects the appropriate voice service option when originating and receiving a call. The subscriber unit includes a memory to store parameter values, including a first voice service option parameter value and a second voice service option parameter value. The subscriber unit also includes a means for determining whether the subscriber unit is within a home system or is roaming, and a selecting means for selecting from among at least a first voice service option corresponding to the first voice service option parameter value and a second voice service option corresponding to the second voice service option parameter value. The selecting means selects the first voice service option if the subscriber unit is within the home system, and selects the second voice service option if the subscriber is roaming.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for generating an autonomous Pilot Strength Measurement Message (PSMM) by a mobile station traveling in a multi-carrier wireless communication system. In a multi-carrier system, the mobile station receives the pilot channel of a base station on multiple carrier frequencies simultaneously. Fading may vary from carrier frequency to carrier frequency. New pilot strength definitions are used by the mobile station in a set of rules transmitted by the base station. The set of rules determines autonomous generation and transmission of PSMMs by the mobile station upon detection of pilots.

    摘要： A method and a vending apparatus for self-checkout unpackaged products is disclosed. The vending apparatus holds goods on one or more product trays. Load cells are mounted under each product tray and can measure the weight of the goods on the product tray in real time. A user may use a credit/debit card or an online payment app to unlock the vending apparatus and to initiate a purchase. The user may take any desired amount of goods. The apparatus automatically detects the type of goods and the weight amount taken by the user and calculates the total cost. After the user payment, the apparatus automatically resets the initial weight of the goods and is ready for the next transaction. The present invention improves the vending machine technology and expands its application to offering unpackaged products.

    摘要： Controller and method for Handover (HO) based 1×CSFB communicates Calling Party Number (CPN) to User Equipment (UE) a in a cellular communication system. A first solution provides Interworking Solution (IWS) adding CPN sent to target Base Station Controller (BSC) via Mobile Switching Center (MSC) in Interoperability Specification (IOS) HO messages. A second solution provides that IWS sends CPN with Air Interface HO message and stores the CPN until UE transition to the target Radio Access Network and acquires a traffic channel. A third solution provides that IWS receives CPN from MSC with a paging message and stores the CPN until UE transition to the target Radio Access Network and acquires a traffic channel. A fourth solution provides sending AWI message to the target Radio Access Network from the MSC. A fifth solution provides that IWS sends CPN via Feature Notification Message (FNM) data tunneled to UE before the paging message to let user decide whether to accept a call before leaving 3G/4G cellular communication.
