    摘要: A metering device and method for delivering fluid that employs a compensating element. The metering device has a housing defining a fluid chamber that contains a pressurized fluid. The-housing further encloses an actuating drive, a valve needle and a compensating element. The housing terminates at a housing opening for delivery of fluid to the outside of the housing. Fluid is delivered from the housing by moving the actuating drive which in turn displaces the valve needle in an opening direction. Upon displacement of the valve needle, the valve needle moves axially in the opening direction with little, if any, lift loss due to the compensating element. The compensating element further acts to compensate for shifting or movement of metering components due to external factors, such as varying thermal loads, aging effects, and settling effects.

    摘要: A fluid dosing device for a pressurized liquid is disclosed, which comprises a chamber (35) which is supplied with pressurized liquid by means of a liquid supply line (17, 19); a valve needle (9) which is guided through the chamber (35), the first end section of said valve needle being able to be lifted and the second end section thereof forming a valve in conjunction with a valve seat disposed on the housing (3). Metal bellows (33) are provided as a leadthrough element for the first end section of the valve needle (9). The metal bellows seal the chamber in said region in a tight manner. A throttle point (37, 39) is provided between the valve needle (9) and the inner wall of the chamber between the metal bellows (33) and the mouth (18) of the liquid supply line (17) leading into the chamber.

    摘要: The compensation element is compensating for temperature-conditioned length changes of an object. An injection valve that is fully functional in the entire range of the operating temperatures of a motor requires a device that compensates thermally conditioned length changes of the mechanical components (piezo-electric actuator, valve lifter, housing, etc.). This device should be capable of absorbing great forces and allow a stiff bearing of the actuator. The compensation element (3) has an oil-filled chamber (21) is composed of an actuator-side upper part (18), of a lower part (19) supported on a stiff bearing (valve housing 17), and of a structure (annular seal element 20) sealing the chamber (21) and yielding in an axial direction. Since the compensation element (3) is fitted into an annular holder (4) with little lateral play, every temperature-conditioned change of the oil or, respectively, chamber volume results in a displacement of the upper housing part (18) in an axial direction that is proportional to the volume change. As a result of a corresponding dimensioning of the chamber height, temperature-conditioned length changes of the valve housing (4) and of the piezo-electric actuator (2) can be compensated using the extremely compactly constructed and comparatively rigid compensation element (3).
