摘要: A valve assembly has a valve housing, an inlet, an outlet and a flow passage extending between the inlet and the outlet. A shut-off valve is mounted on the housing adjacent the inlet and a flow control valve is mounted on the housing adjacent the outlet. By mounting both valves on the same housing, the dimensions of the assembly are reduced.

摘要: An irrigation control device has a controller sealed within a watertight housing. The control device also has an antenna, power supply and battery charging device, such as a solar array. The controller receives signals through the antenna and updates one or more watering schedules stored in a memory module, based on the received signals, and generates control signals to execute a watering schedule. The battery charging device recharges the power supply and the irrigation control device requires no external electrical connections for power or control. Control signals are generated in a central controller remote from the rotor, and are preferably transmitted to the rotor antenna through a commercial paging or other type of public broadcast network.

摘要: An apparatus, program product and method propagate errors detected in an IO fabric element from an IO fabric that is used to couple a plurality of endpoint IO resources to processing elements in a computer. In particular, such errors are propagated to the endpoint IO resources affected by the IO fabric element in connection with recovering from the errors in the IO fabric element. By doing so, a device driver or other program code used to access each affected IO resources may be permitted to asynchronously recover from the propagated error in its associated IO resource, and often without requiring the recovery from the error in the IO fabric element to wait for recovery to be completed for each of the affected IO resources. In addition, an IO fabric may be dynamically configured to support both recoverable and non-recoverable endpoint IO resources. In particular, IO fabric elements within an IO fabric may be dynamically configured to enable machine check signaling in such IO fabric elements in response to detection that an endpoint IO resource is non-recoverable in nature. The IO fabric elements that are dynamically configured as such are disposed within a hardware path that is defined between the non-recoverable resource and a processor that accesses the non-recoverable resource.

摘要: An information retrieval system includes a query revision architecture that integrates multiple different query revisers, each implementing one or more query revision strategies. A revision server receives a user's query, and interfaces with the various query revisers, each of which generates one or more potential revised queries. The revision server evaluates the potential revised queries, and selects one or more of them to provide to the user. A confidence estimator and method provide the ability to improve the likelihood of success of suggested revised queries derived from various revision strategies. This is accomplished by tracking user queries, query revision links, results associated with revised queries, and various features of the original query and revised queries. This data is then analyzed using a predictive model to generate a set of rules that can be used to estimate the likelihood of a revised query being a successful revision for a given query.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus that is used in the building of a tire and an assembly process for building a tire. The apparatus comprises an apparatus frame and a main shaft that is rotatable in at least one axis about the apparatus frame. The apparatus further comprises a building drum that is provided with a plurality of drum segments disposed concentrically about the axial center of the drum and are movable in both the axial and radial directions and is fixed to the main shaft in rotation. The drum segments further comprise right and left shoulders located axially at the lateral edges, and the base of each of the shoulder extends axially to form a lateral projection. At least one version of the apparatus has right and left shoulders of unequal heights to facilitate fabrication of tires having unequal bead seat diameters. The apparatus further comprises at least a right and a left side assembly coaxially attached to the main shaft and located proximately to the lateral projection of the drum segments. When the side assemblies are positioned at the inward limit of axial extension, the surfaces of the drum segments and of the side assemblies form a substantially continuous cylindrical surface that supports the axial width of tire products to be assembled. The apparatus further comprises a plurality of lift tab segments positioned proximately to the drum segments
