Abstract:
Operation room devices, methods, and systems are disclosed. One method comprises: receiving, at a processing unit, data associated with a patient; determining, with the processing unit, a treatment for the patient; identifying, with the processing unit, a control setting associated with one or more treatment devices that are (i) in communication with the processing unit, and (ii) operable to perform the treatment; and generating, with the processing unit, a display including the control setting and at least one view of the data. Related devices and systems also are disclosed.
Abstract:
A system for preventing inadvertent actuation of a medical device. The system includes an elongate tube having a proximal end, a distal end, and a lumen extending from the proximal end to the distal end. The lumen is configured to receive a medical device configured to transition between an actuated state and an inactive state. The device further includes a detection system configured to determine a position of a distal end of the medical device relative to the distal end of the elongate tube. The detection system includes a transmitting element and a receiving element.
Abstract:
A medical device for ablating tissue within a body cavity includes a sheath having a lumen extending therethrough from a proximal end to a distal end and a first channel extending within the lumen, an end-effector extending from a proximal end to a distal end and including an expandable member having a plurality of arms extending between the proximal end and the distal end. The arms are configured to transition between a collapsed state and an expanded state and a mechanism for transporting a fluid through one of the channels to the body cavity to ablate the tissue.

Abstract:
Aspects of a device are described. One aspect is a device comprising: a housing having a first portion engageable with a scope, and a second portion engageable with a handle of a retrieval device; a platform that is movable relative to the housing, and engageable with a slider of the retrieval device; and a link assembly that is coupled the housing and the platform, and operable to move the platform and slider relative to the housing and handle. Aspects of related devices and systems also are described.
Abstract:
An illumination device may include an illumination source including a light source, a single fiber connecting the illumination source to a medical device and being dedicated to the transmission of light energy from the light source, and a numerical aperture adjustment portion located between the single fiber and the medical device. The light source may generate at least one non-white colored laser energy, and the illumination device may convert the at least one non-white colored laser energy into white colored laser energy.
Abstract:
The invention, in various embodiments, is directed to systems, devices, and methods relating to pre-pubic approaches to delivering a supportive sling to periurethral tissue of a patient. In some embodiments, a system includes a sling assembly having a sling and a sleeve, a guide tube coupled to an end portion of the sleeve, and a delivery device having a shaft, where the shaft can slidably interfit into a lumen of the guide tube such that the distal-most tip of the shaft extends out of the lumen of the guide tube.
