摘要： The present disclosure is drawn to dice with polymer ribs. In one example, a die structure can comprise a die having a plurality of die slots, the die having polymer ribs attached to one side thereof, wherein the polymer ribs are attached using a polymer film on one side of the die, said polymer film having portions removed along the die slots to form the polymer ribs which bridge the die slots, thereby forming a plurality of polymer bridged die slots.

In one embodiment, the print head die is formed by dry etching from a first side (50) of a wafer (30) a series of spaced openings (220) completely through the wafer (30) and separated by ribs (41) followed by wet etching the wafer (30) from a second opposite side (44) to recess the ribs (41) from the second side (44).

摘要： A fluid-ejection device includes a handheld and/or mountable enclosure, a removable tip, a cap, a pneumatic fitting, and a controller. The removable tip has a fluid-ejection mechanism located at an end thereof. The cap is disposed on the end of the removable tip such that just the fluid-ejection mechanism is exposed through the cap. The pneumatic fitting extends from the enclosure and is receptive to placement of the removable tip thereon. The controller is situated within the enclosure to cause the removable tip to eject fluid.

摘要： Methods of manufacturing a fluid ejection device comprise, in one embodiment, forming filler structures on a substrate and laminating a dry film onto the substrate over the filler structures. The dry film defines a barrier layer around the filler structures and an orifice layer above the filler structures. The filler structures are removed to form voids within the barrier layer.
