摘要： A system for sensing a property of a fluid comprises a fluid channel operable to receive the fluid therein, a flexible arm having a free end positioned within at least a portion of the fluid channel, a fluid actuator disposed sufficiently close to the flexible arm such that actuation of the fluid actuator induces movement of the flexible arm when the fluid is present, and a deflection sensing system operable to quantifiably detect movement of the flexible arm.

摘要： The present disclosure is drawn to dice with polymer ribs. In one example, a die structure can comprise a die having a plurality of die slots, the die having polymer ribs attached to one side thereof, wherein the polymer ribs are attached using a polymer film on one side of the die, said polymer film having portions removed along the die slots to form the polymer ribs which bridge the die slots, thereby forming a plurality of polymer bridged die slots.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for dispensing liquid are disclosed. The method includes the steps of storing one or more liquids in a thermal inkjet print head and providing a well plate having at least one well. At least one of the liquids is dispensed from the thermal inkjet print head into at least one well. The volume of the dispensed liquid is a fraction of the total required volume of the liquid in the at least one well, and the dispensing step is performed multiple times to dispense the required volume of the at least one liquid in at least one well.
