摘要： A tape includes: a sheet; first and second media arranged adjacent to each other in a longitudinal direction of the sheet, spaced from each other, and peelably stuck to the sheet; a first separating line extending between first and second ends of the sheet in a widthwise direction between the first and second media; and a second separating line formed at a portion of the sheet which is located between a center position of the second medium in the widthwise direction and a first end of the second medium in the widthwise direction. The second separating line is formed at at least a portion of the sheet which is located between first and second ends of the second medium in the longitudinal direction. Each of the first and second separating lines includes a portion formed through or cut in the sheet in a thickness direction.

摘要： A controller of a label creating apparatus obtains label information corresponding to a shape of a label to be created. When the controller does not obtain a first detection signal but obtains a second detection signal, the controller determines, based on the second detection signal and the label information, whether the label having a first shape related to the obtained label information is creatable from a pair of one first portion and one second portion. When the controller obtains the first detection signal, the controller controls a conveyor and a cutter to cut the pair of the one first portion and the one second portion, at a cutting position related to the label information, based on the first detection signal regardless of the second detection signal obtained after obtainment of the first detection signal.

A second-side end portion of a first-side second portion is connected to a first-side end portion of one first portion, and a first-side end portion of a second-side second portion is connected to a second-side end portion of the one first portion. The one first portion has a first length in a tape widthwise direction. Each of the first-side second portion and the second-side second portion has a second length in the widthwise direction of the tape and a third length in a tape longitudinal direction. The second length is greater than the first length. The one first portion has a fourth length in the tape longitudinal direction which is greater than or equal to a specific length and less than a sum of the specific length and the third length.

A control unit controls to print on a first area of the tape and to cut a second area. In some examples, the tape is divided into two portions by pre-cut contours. A control unit controls to divide one of the portions into two parts and to print on at least one of the parts. Additionally or alternatively, a tape may include a first sheet and a second sheet. The second sheet pasted on the first sheet, is divided into a first area and a second area by a slit, and has a perforation line. A control unit controls to print on the second sheet, and to cut partially through the tape.

The tape roll has: a first end portion located at an inner portion of the tape roll in a radial direction of the tape roll; and a second end portion located at an outer portion of the tape roll in the radial direction. The first information relates to an amount of a portion of the tape which is located on a first-end-portion-side of a reference position in the lengthwise direction. The reference position is located on the first-end-portion-side of the first image in the lengthwise direction on the tape at a particular distance from the first image.
