    摘要: A linear amplification with nonlinear components (LINC) power transmitter is provided. The LINC power transmitter includes a digital signal processing unit which controls the LINC power transmitter; a frequency modulation unit which modulates or converts a digital signal output from the digital signal processing unit into a radio-frequency (RF) signal; a signal amplification unit which amplifies the RF signal output from the frequency modulation unit using a gain amplifier and a power amplification module; and a direct current/direct current (DC/DC) conversion unit which controls bias of the power amplification module. Here, the DC/DC conversion unit controls a base bias and/or a collect bias of the power amplification module, and the power amplification module operates in saturation.

    摘要: Disclosed is a high resolution time-of-flight distance measurement device based on a femtosecond laser, including a femtosecond laser light source, a polarization beam splitter, a balanced optical cross-correlator in which second harmonic pulses are generated using reference light and measurement light, wherein the second harmonic pulse that was primarily generated is incident on a first photodetector and the second harmonic pulse that was secondarily generated is incident on a second photodetector, so that a difference in intensity of the second harmonic pulses is output, thus resolving the time interval of the pulse laser, a controller for controlling the repetition rate of the femtosecond laser, and a converter for measuring the repetition rate of the femtosecond laser controlled so that the pulses uniformly overlap by means of the controller, using a frequency counter traceable to a time/frequency standard, so that a measured value is converted into distance information.

    摘要: The present invention relates to absolute distance measurement method and system using an optical frequency generator. The absolute distance measurement method using the optical frequency generator includes (a) generating a plurality of different stabilized wavelengths by using the optical frequency generator; (b) obtaining an initial estimation value of a distance to be measured by using a frequency sweeping interferometer; (c) analyzing an uncertainty range of the obtained initial estimation value; (d) measuring excess fraction parts of the different wavelengths by analyzing interference signals for each of the wavelengths; (e) determining integer parts for each of the different wavelengths within the uncertainty range of the initial estimation value; and (f) measuring an absolute distance to be measured by using the excess fraction part and the integer parts for each of the different wavelengths.

    摘要: The present invention relates to vibration-insensitive point-diffraction interferometry. For the purpose of obtaining high immunity to vibration, a single-mode optical fiber is used to generate the reference wave, by means of point diffraction, directly from a measurement wave reflected from test objects. The capability of vibration desensitization is further strengthened by adding a spatial phase-shift device that enables four interferograms of different amounts of phase shift to be obtained simultaneously with no time delay between interferograms. The present invention may be effectively used in the design of measuring systems for in-line applications where measurements need to be performed in the presence of significant levels of vibration.

    摘要: A high speed passband phase modulation apparatus and method are provided. In the phase modulation apparatus, an RF phase shifter modulates a phase of a local signal that is generated in a VCO according to a digital input. The RF phase shifter is controlled by a phase-controlled loop so that a baseband phase shifter is phased locked to a modulation reference signal from the local signal and a reference clock signal according to the digital input. The phase-controlled loop phase-locks using the modulation reference signal so that the phase-modulated signal generated in the RF phase shifter has a phase value according to the digital input.
