Abstract: A flexible adapter (1) for a rolling assembly, said rolling assembly comprising a tyre (2) having two beads (21), a rim (3) and two adapters (1) each intended to ensure the joint between one of the beads (21) and the rim (3), said rim (3) having two rim seats (31) each extended axially outwards by a rim flange (32), the rim seat having a diameter D3, the adapter comprising an axially outer end (11) and a body (12) oriented substantially axially and disposed between said axially outer end (11) and said axially inner end (10), said body (12) having a radially outer face (121) and a radially inner face (122), having the intersection between the shoulder (111) of the axially outer end (11) of the adapter (1) and the substantially tapered face of said adapter seat (13) forming a circle of diameter D1, said adapter seat (13) having a substantially tapered face of angle α, in which the difference “d” between the diameters D1 and D3, d=D1−D3, lies between 25.9 mm and 30.4 mm and the angle α is greater than 0.5°.

Abstract: Adapter for a rolling assembly intended to be fitted to a passenger vehicle, with improved mountability and a high capacity for absorbing large deformations in the event of pinch shocks. The adapter has reinforcing element (15) of the axially outer end (9) wholly situated axially on the outside of bearing face (21) and radially on the outside of adapter seat (18), and a main reinforcement (17) having a radial superposition of at least two layers of reinforcers, the reinforcers being mutually parallel within one and the same layer and crossed with one another from one layer to the next. Each of the layers of main reinforcement (17) comprises reinforcers which make, with a circumferential direction (XX′) of the tire, an angle at least equal to 30°, and coated with a polymer material having an elastic modulus at 10% elongation at most equal to 70 MPa.

Abstract: Adapter for rolling assembly comprising tire and rim to provide the connection therebetween. The adapter has axially inner end with inner reinforcing element, axially outer end with outer reinforcing element, and a body. The outer reinforcing element, axially outside of bearing face (21), is a bead wire made of three layers (23, 24, 25) of metal threads and concentric. First layer (23) includes metal thread of diameter D1, 0.8≤D1≤5 mm, second layer (24) has metal thread of diameter D2, D2≤1.4×D1, and wound in a helix at angle A2, 2°≤A2≤10°, and third layer (25) has metal thread of diameter D3 and wound in a helix around second layer (24) at angle A3, 2°≤A3≤10°, and of opposite sign to A2.

Abstract: Adapter providing the connection between one tire bead and the rim. An axially inner end of the adapter is mounted on the rim seat, an axially outer end is mounted on the rim seat, a body connects said outer end to said inner end, a substantially cylindrical adapter seat receives one of said beads, and an adapter bearing face is substantially contained in a plane perpendicular to the axis. The reinforcer element of the axially outer end is entirely situated axially outside the bearing face. The body comprises, opposite the adapter seat, an annular seat protuberance, said protuberance comprising at least one rubber composition.

The first end (17A) and the second end (17B) of the reinforcement are arranged one upon the other so as to form an overlap.

Abstract: An adapter for a rolling assembly having an axis of rotation (YY′), the rolling assembly comprising a tyre having two beads, and a rim having two rim bead seats, for each bead, provides the connection between the bead and the rim, the said adapter comprising an axially inner end connected to the rim, an axially outer end comprising an outer reinforcing element and intended to come into contact, via a substantially radial axially inner face, or bearing face, with a bead, a body connecting the axially outer end to the axially inner end so as to form a single piece, comprising at least one main reinforcement providing the connection between the outer reinforcing element and the inner reinforcing element, and comprising a substantially axial adapter seat intended to come into contact with a bead. The outer reinforcing element is completely axially on the outside of the bearing face, and the outer reinforcing element is a substantially annular structure, referred to as a bead wire, of polygonal section, comprising an individual metal wire of diameter D1, the said wire being coated in an elastomer composition and wound contiguously around a support at least three times in an axial direction and at least twice in a radial direction.
