Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of energy storage devices, and in particular, to a battery module and a battery pack. The battery module includes: a plurality of battery cells stacked in sequence, the plurality of battery cells being provided with vents; and a circuit board arranged above the plurality of battery cells. The circuit board is provided with a temperature sensing device, and a position of each of the temperature sensing device corresponds to positions of the vents. The temperature sensing device is connected to a battery management system to form a circuit, and the circuit is disconnected when any one of the vents is blasted.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a thermal runaway detection circuit and method, and relates to batteries. The thermal runaway detection circuit includes: a sensing module including a sensing cable; a detection module connected to the sensing cable and including at least one set of voltage dividing resistors; a processing module connected to the detection module, wherein the processing module is configured to obtain thermal runaway detection data, and determine whether thermal runaway occurs in the battery pack based on the thermal runaway detection data, wherein the thermal runaway detection data includes battery pack data and sampled data collected from sampling points, and the sampling points are disposed between the two connected voltage dividing resistor sets. The technical solutions in the present disclosure can improve safety of the battery pack.

Abstract: This application provides a battery box, a battery, and an electric device. The battery box includes a bottom plate and a frame. Each of two ends of the frame is provided with an opening, the opening at one end of the frame is connected to an edge of the bottom plate to form an accommodating space, and a light energy absorber is arranged on a side of the bottom plate in the accommodating space facing the accommodating space. According to the battery box provided in this application, in a case that an impact or a collision occurs at the bottom of the battery box, the light energy absorber can absorb the impact energy produced by the impact or collision, thereby greatly reducing the vibration, extrusion, and collision intensity of a battery module in the battery box. The light energy absorber provides buffering and protection for the battery module.

Abstract: This application provides a method, an apparatus, a system for detecting battery thermal runaway, and a battery management unit. The method includes: obtaining an output signal of an air pressure sensor located in a battery pack, and obtaining parameter information of the battery pack; determining state information of the air pressure sensor based on the output signal of the air pressure sensor; and generating an alarm signal indicating occurrence of thermal runaway in the battery pack based on the state information of the air pressure sensor and the parameter information of the battery pack. In this application, the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack may be implemented by considering parameter information of both the air pressure sensor and the battery pack, improving the reliability of the thermal runaway detection for the battery pack, reducing the probability of false positives and false negatives, and improving driving safety.
