    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery cell, a battery module, a battery pack, a device using the battery cell as a power source, and an assembling method of the battery cell, wherein the battery cell comprising an electrode assembly (20) and an insulating support plate (50), the electrode assembly (20) comprises a main body portion (22) and a tab (21) connected to the main body portion (22), the insulating support plate (50) comprises a first support portion (51) and a second support portion (52) connected to the first support portion (51), the first support portion (51) protrudes in a direction approaching the main body portion (22) relative to the second support portion (52) such that a first gap is formed between the second support portion (52) and the main body portion (22), and at least a portion of the tab (21) is located in the first gap. The first gap formed between the second support portion and the main body portion can accommodate at least a portion of the tab to effectively protect the tab, prevent the tab from being compressed, reduce damages to the tab, and increase the service life of the battery.

The battery cell includes an end cover and a housing, the end cover and the housing forming an accommodating cavity; an electrode assembly accommodated in the accommodating cavity; an insulator configured to isolate the end cover from the electrode assembly; and a protective film fitting around outer circumference of the electrode assembly, the protective film and the insulator being fit together. The protective film and the insulator being fit together does not require hot-melt connection during assembly, thereby avoiding drawing in over-melting, falling off in under-melting, and the like of the protective film caused by hot-melt connection.

A pressure relief mechanism is provided on a housing plate of a battery cell and includes: a connecting portion, where the connecting portion is located at an outer peripheral region of the pressure relief mechanism and is configured to connect the housing plate; a first part, where an end of the first part is connected to the connecting portion, and another end protrudes obliquely toward an interior of the battery cell; a weak portion, where the weak portion is provided at the protruding end of the first part; and a second part, where an outer edge region of the second part is connected to the weak portion, and the outer edge region extends obliquely away from the interior of the battery cell.

    Abstract: A top cap assembly includes a top cap plate, a mounting piece, and a protection film.     Abstract: A battery unit includes an electrode assembly and a support component. The electrode assembly includes a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate that have opposite polarities, and a separator separating the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The electrode assembly is wound around an outer periphery of the support component. An outer peripheral wall surface of the support component includes a first arc surface and a second arc surface. A first end of the first arc surface is connected to a first end of the second arc surface, and a second end of the first arc surface is spaced apart from a second end of the second arc surface so as to form a step region on the outer peripheral wall surface. The step region is configured to accommodate at least part of the electrode assembly.
