    摘要: A method of folding together a vehicle side curtain airbag is provided that includes bending a base section of an extended air bag toward the outboard side of the vehicle and fully over onto a middle section of the air bag located directly above the base section. The adjacent base and middle sections are then rolled, as a group, by first moving a crease line between the base and middle sections toward the outboard side of the vehicle, then curling the crease line back toward the unrolled portion of the base and middle sections and then rolling the remainder of the unrolled portion of the base and middle sections. A top section of the airbag is collapsed in a pleated manner.

    摘要: An air bag system for a front-seat passenger, includes a main body portion of an emblem is brought into contact with a surface of an instrument panel at a reverse face thereof, a bolt provided on the reverse face of the main body portion to protrude therefrom passes through the instrument panel and a mounting portion of an air bag module and a nut screwed on and fastened to the bolt so that the air bag module is fixed to the instrument panel easily and rigidly without using heat clamping which is less stable in quality. There is no risk that surface sinks are generated in the surface of the instrument panel to thereby deteriorate the aesthetic appearance thereof, since there is no need to provide bosses on a reverse face of the instrument panel for heat clamping.

    摘要: An air bag module of a passenger side air bag apparatus is sized and shaped to pass through a glove box opening portion of an instrument panel. An opening in an upper portion of a casing of the module faces the inner surface of an air bag lid, which is molded in one piece with a top wall part of the instrument panel. A lower portion of the module casing is fixed detachably to a steering hanger beam via a lower locking mechanism capable of being manipulated via the glove box opening portion. The upper portion of the module casing is fixed detachably to the top wall part of the instrument panel via an upper locking mechanism. Both the upper and lower locking mechanisms are capable of being manipulated via the glove box opening portion for easy installation and removal of the air bag module, but reliably support the module, even when the air bag is inflated and deployed.

At the particular time, the first device may determine whether the user is within a perceivable range of the first device and may provide access to the media asset when the user is within a perceivable range of the first device. If the user is outside a perceivable range of the first device, data associated with the media asset event may be automatically transmitted to a second device. If the user is within a perceivable range of the second device, the media asset and media asset event may be provided to the user on the second device. If the user is outside a perceivable range of the second device, the media asset may be stored to on the second device and/or forwarded to another device.

    摘要: Two recording tracks (T1) and (T2) are formed in parallel with each other on a stereoscopic video disc record (D). Image information for a right eye and audio information are serially recorded on one recording track (T1). Image information for a left eye and audio information are serially recorded on the recording track (T2) at a synchronized timing with the image information for a right eye and the audio information recorded on the adjacent recording track T1. Information can be easily recorded on such steroscopic video disc record (D) in a manner that the image information for right and left eyes and the audio information are recorded at the same time by two recording beams. On the other hand, stereoscopic image information can be reproduced by reproducing respective recording tracks at the same time by two reproducing means. Furthermore, a normal two dimensional image information can be reproduced by reproducing either one of the recording tracks serially by one reproducing beam.

    摘要: A frequency multiplexing circuit in an optical video disc recorder frequency-multiplexes a second signal comprising a digital sound signal on the low frequency band of a first signal comprising a frequency-modulated video signal to generate a recording signal. In addition, the recording signal is applied to a limiter to be limited. In this case, a noise component produced in a band of the second signal is extracted by using a Bessel filter and a subtractor and previously subtracted from the recording signal generated by frequency multiplexing. The recording signal including a negative noise component is applied to the limiter, so that harmonic noise and linear distortion noise essentially produced in an output of the limiter can be cancelled. Furthermore, a slice level of the limiter is suitably adjusted, so that asymmetrical noise in the output of the limiter can be also eliminated.

    摘要: An airbag inflator performance test system includes: a cylindrical tank; a disk-shaped piston vertically movably disposed with a gap between the piston and an inner peripheral face of the tank, the gap allowing gas to flow; a piston rod that projects upward from the piston and runs slidably through the tank so as to guide vertical movement of the piston; a lower chamber defined within the tank beneath the piston; an upper chamber defined within the tank above the piston; an inflator disposed in the lower chamber; a pressure sensor for detecting a pressure of the upper chamber; and a piston displacement sensor for detecting a displacement of the piston in order to detect a volume in the upper chamber. After ignition of the inflator, an inflator local work and an inflator total work, which are indexes of the energy of the inflator, are calculated based on the pressure and the volume of the upper chamber.
