摘要: An apparatus, method and system to set a control channel configuration in a response to an indication of interference in a communication system. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a processor 520 and memory 550 including computer program code. The memory 550 and the computer program code are configured to, with the processor 520, cause the apparatus to detect interference for the apparatus operable on a communication system from another communication system, and provide an indication of the interference to a base station. The memory 550 and the computer program code are further configured to, with the processor 520, cause the apparatus to receive an indication of a relocation of at least a portion of a control channel to a protected area in response to a signal from the base station.

摘要: First, second and third apparatuses, methods and computer programs are provided. The first apparatus (10) controls a transmitter to transmit, to the third apparatus (30), service information relating to at least one service. The first apparatus (10) also controls the transmitter to transmit, to the third apparatus (30), at least one access control parameter that defines how to control access to the service information. The second apparatus (20) controls a transmitter to transmit a request, to the third apparatus (30) via data link layer signaling, requesting access to service information. The request comprises at least one access request parameter. The third apparatus (30) determines, from at least one access control parameter provided by the first apparatus (10), how to control access to service information provided by the first apparatus (10). The third apparatus (30) decides, in response to reception of the request from the second apparatus (20), whether to enable the second apparatus (20) to access service information provided by the first apparatus (10). The decision is dependent upon the at least one access control parameter. In response to deciding to enable the second apparatus (20) to access service information provided by the first apparatus (10), the third apparatus (30) controls a transmitter to transmit, via data link layer signaling, that service information to the second apparatus (20).

摘要: A mechanism for radio systems co-existence on secondary carriers may be of particular value to radio systems that that operating on the same bands as Wi-Fi™ (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, or the like) or the bands of similar radio systems. A method providing such a mechanism may include operating Provide Wireless a first network node of a first radio network on a primary channel. The method may also include identifying a secondary channel for expanded operation of the first network node. The method may further include providing a second network node with an opportunity to capture the secondary channel.

摘要: The present document provides a method, apparatus, and computer program for determining, in a communication device of a first basic service set comprising a group of communication devices of a wireless telecommunication network, a primary channel of a second basic service set different from said first basic service set. Thereafter, the communication device causes transmission of channel identification information defining a location of at least one channel of the first basic service set from the communication device to the second basic service set on the determined primary channel of the second basic service set.

摘要: Service discovery for services on a wireless network is presented. It is determined (e.g., from a received Layer 2 message) that an offering apparatus h made a service available to entities joined to a wireless network. Then in a message, that is available to entities not joined to the network, is placed information about the services and also at least one of location information about the offering apparatus and link metric information about a network path to the offering apparatus. A discovering apparatus reads one or more transmitted messages (from different apparatuses in the same network in different networks), sees the service it wants is available through both, compares the different locations and/or the different link metrics, and based on the comparing chooses which network to join, or with which apparatus on the single network to create a peer link.

摘要: Various embodiments are disclosed relating to techniques for RTS/CTS usage in a wireless network. According to an example embodiment, a network performance may be measured within a wireless network. A variety of parameters may be measured at a wireless node to determine a network performance. In addition, it may be determined whether the network performance has reached a degraded performance threshold. A frame is transmitted via the wireless network. If the network performance has reached the degraded performance threshold, the frame may be transmitted using a Request-to-Send/Clear-to-Send (RTS/CTS) protection. In another example embodiment, a frame may be transmitted using RTS/CTS protection if an estimated transmission time for the frame exceeds a transmission time threshold.

摘要: An apparatus (STA) receives from a first node (AP1) at least one channel access related parameter and a first congestion indication; and receives from a second node (AP2) a second congestion indication. The apparatus determines a combined congestion indication which is based at least on the first congestion indication and the second congestion indication; and determines a first channel access parameter for a channel between the apparatus and the first node based at least partly on the at least one channel access related parameter and the combined congestion indication. In specific embodiments, the channel access related parameters may be an initial EDCA parameter and a degradation factor.

摘要: Various embodiments are disclosed relating to beacon transmissions in wireless networks. In an example embodiment, a wireless node may receive a beacon from one or more wireless nodes. The receiving node may generate and transmit a beacon map to other wireless nodes in the network. The beacon map may provide information relating to one or more of the received beacons, such as a time stamp or other time information for the beacon and the originating wireless node for the beacon, such as an address of the originating wireless node. In an example embodiment, the beacon map may be transmitted upon request or within a beacon, or within another message. In another example embodiment, a beacon map may be received at a receiving wireless node, including information relating to beacons from one or more other wireless nodes. A status of at least one of the beacons may be determined based upon the beacon map.
