    摘要: A sprocket and hub assembly for use with a mechanical drive assembly of an agricultural implement includes a generally flat disc having an outer edge and a generally center mount portion. A series of teeth are radially defined around the outer edge of the disc. The assembly further includes a hub removably mounted to the generally center mount portion of the disc. The hub has a shaft engagement portion for removably coupling the hub to a driven shaft of the mechanical drive assembly. In one embodiment, the agricultural implement includes a retainer designed to hold a set of differently sized sprockets that can be interchangeably coupled to the driven shaft by the hub.

    摘要: A tensioning arrangement to an endless linkage of a drive train is provided. The tensioning arrangement includes a tension arm and a spool mounted at the tension arm. The spool includes a rib generally centrally located between opposing first and second endwalls of the spool. The rib includes a greater outer diameter relative to an outer diameter of adjacent cylindrical portions abutting the rib. Both opposing first and second endwalls of the spool are of greater outer diameter so as to steer the endless linkage therebetween in general alignment with the rib. A spring includes a hook free end engaged at the tension arm, and a linear shaped free end engaged at the frame so as to bias the spool against the endless linkage.

    摘要: A plant product extraction apparatus or extractor is provided for separating or grading fine particles from a larger portion of material, such as separating trichomes from a stalk or flower of a plant. The apparatus imparts a plurality modes or patterns of oscillations and vibrations to a particle separator or sieve that holds the plant matter. A motor drives a back and forth motion to a support platform supporting a sieve. The sieve is constrained by a retention tray that is supported by the support platform. One or more vibratory motors provide rapid shaking vibration through the retention tray to the sieve. A haptic transducer or mechanical agitators may be provided to increase throughput of the apparatus. The various motors and locomotion patterns facilitate the separation of finer plant materials from a larger portion of a plant.

    摘要: A drive coupling system and method of engaging/disengaging the coupling provided by a drive coupling system are disclosed. The drive coupling system includes first and second torque couplers coupled respectively to drive and driven shafts. One of the couplers includes a support and first and second members rotatably coupled to the support, where each coupler includes a respective extension and a respective plurality of gear teeth. The first and second members are capable of being respectively rotated to first and second rotational positions beyond which the first plurality of gear teeth are able to at least begin to slip out of alignment with the second plurality of gear teeth. The relative slipping of the first plurality of gear teeth with respect to the second plurality of gear teeth is limited due to contact occurring between the extensions. As the relative slipping occurs, teeth of the two members become locked.
