摘要: Transmitting Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) packets includes transmitting packets over a network path from a source to a destination using TCP in which receipt of at least some of the packets from the source at a destination is acknowledged by the destination to the source, the transmitting including a retransmission of the packets within a subpath of the network path, and managing acknowledgments of the retransmission of the packets within the subpath by a mechanism that is independent of the acknowledging by the source to the destination with respect to the transmitting of the packets over the network path.

摘要: The present invention supports mobility for a mobile node between different packet data services. In one embodiment, the invention includes listening for a registration message from a mobile node at an external interface of a gateway node of a wireless packet service, the registration message containing a care-of address for the mobile node that is outside of the wireless packet service, accepting a registration message from the mobile node at the external interface, and registering the mobile node to the care-of address contained in the registration message. This embodiment further includes sending a registration reply message to the mobile node via the care-of address, the registration reply message indicating successful registration, creating a binding for the mobile node, tunneling packets addressed to the mobile node to the care-of address, and receiving tunneled packets from the mobile node, decapsulating the tunneled packets and sending them to the appropriate address.

摘要: In general, in one aspect, the disclosure describes a method that includes selecting an offset between start of communications of a first radio in a multi-radio platform (MRP) and start of communications of a second radio in the MRP. Synchronizing clocks of the fist radio and the second radio to maintain the offset. Determining safe zones within the communications of the second radio based on configuration of the first radio and the second radio and the selected offset. The safe zones are locations that minimize conflicts between receiving operations of the first radio that are at fixed locations and transmitting operations of the second radio and transmitting operations of the first radio that are at fixed locations and receiving operations of the second radio.

摘要: Embodiments of systems and methods for Bluetooth and WiMAX coexistence are generally described herein. Other embodiments may be described and claimed. In some embodiments systems and methods are described to determine a temporal reference associated a frame, and then align another wireless frame with that temporal reference. Once aligned, transmissions and receptions in one wireless frame may be arranged to not temporally overlap with transmissions or reception the other wireless frame.

摘要: Systems and methods provide for controlling contention in a wireless network device. The systems and methods transmit a packet on a wireless network. If the transmission is not successful, then a contention window parameter is adjusted according to a fast backoff operation. If the packet transmission was successful and the current value of the contention window parameter is less than a threshold value then the contention window parameter is decreased according to a contention avoidance operation. If the packet transmission is successful and the current value of the contention window parameter is greater than the threshold value then the contention window parameter is decreased according to a slow start operation.

摘要: A four-wheel drive electric vehicle is provided. The vehicle comprises a chassis and a power system. The power system comprises batteries, an electric motor, a DC-DC converter and an electric motor controller which are electrically connected, and the chassis comprises a frame, a transmission/transfer case, a drive shaft, a front axle assembly as well as a rear axle assembly. The transmission/transfer case, the front axle assembly and the rear axle assembly are mounted on the frame. The transmission/transfer case is connected with the rear axle assembly directly and with the front axle assembly via the drive shaft. Under the control of the electric motor controller, the electric motor is driven to rotate by the batteries, whereby a power is transferred from the motor to the transmission/transfer case, and a part of the power is transferred to the rear axle assembly with the other part transferred to the front axle assembly via the drive shaft.
