摘要: In general, in accordance with an exemplary aspect of the present invention, a low-loss interface for connecting an integrated circuit such as a monolithic microwave integrated circuit to an energy transmission device such as a waveguide is disclosed. The interface comprises an isolation wall placed between an input and output region of an integrated circuit to reduce ripple and isolate the waveguide cavity from the monolithic microwave integrated circuit circuitry. The interface further comprises a turning screw or other similar member that is configured to closely match the impedance of integrated circuit 11 with the impedance at interface 10 to further reduce loss.

摘要: A device for hollowing out food products such as loaves of hemispherically shaped bread for the purpose of using the hollowed out loaf as a bowl for food. The device has a knife for cutting into the loaf and a loaf platform for holding the loaf of bread. The platform and knife are angled so that the cutting action removes a uniform sized conical section of bread from the central region of the loaf. The knife is mounted in restricted manner so that it will penetrate the loaf for cutting of the cone but will not pass through the loaf.

摘要: A device for infusing flavor into liquids fits and seals to the neck of a bottle. The device has an infusing chamber that is selectively in fluid communication with the liquid in the bottle. The infusing chamber holds a replaceable infusing material that partially dissolves and infuses flavor as liquid passes over it. A check ball selectively separates the infusing chamber from the liquid in the bottle to prevent any infused liquid from returning to the bottle. The device has a passage for makeup air to enter the bottle as infused liquid is dispensed. The infusing material is replaceable by accessing the infusing chamber.

In yet another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, a multi-layer power amplifier is provided that comprises two or more chassis and circuits attached to impedance matching interfaces according to the present invention. This multi-layered power amplifier is configured to amplify an energy signal and have a significantly reduced volume compared to existing power combiners.
