摘要: Metal-containing ionic liquids can demonstrate a sharply increased viscosity relative to the same ionic liquids without the metal cation. Metal-containing ionic liquid compositions are disclosed that contain viscosity modifiers that reduce viscosity. Metal-containing ionic liquids are applicable to methods and within systems designed for the purpose of removing and recovering certain components of process streams such as ethylene, isobutane, or both. Methods for removing and recovering ethylene from process streams are also disclosed herein as having increased ethylene removal capacity concurrently with reductions in viscosity without corresponding reductions in metal cation concentrations.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to the integration of systems and methods associated with steam cracking, oligomerization reactions, hydrogenation reactions, and aromatization reactions for the production of benzene via the hydrogenation of oligomers produced from ethylene. In some aspects, the disclosed systems and methods utilize one or more of an oligomerization process, a hydrotreating process, and an aromatization process for producing a benzene comprising effluent. In further aspects, the systems and methods disclosed herein utilize one or more selective oligomerization catalyst systems.

摘要: Processes for converting methane into methanol are disclosed in which methane, water, and a supported chromium (VI) catalyst are contacted with a light beam at a wavelength in the UV-visible spectrum in an oxidizing atmosphere in a single reactor to form a reaction product comprising methanol, followed by discharging a reactor effluent containing the reaction product from the single reactor, and then separating methanol from the reaction product. Processes to produce methanol using additional reactors also are described, as well as related methanol production systems.

摘要: Disclosed is a continuous process for producing α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acids or salts thereof, comprising: 1) in a first stage, contacting (a) a transition metal precursor compound comprising at least one first ligand, (b) optionally, at least one second ligand, (c) an olefin, (d) carbon dioxide (CO2), and (e) a diluent to form a first composition; 2) in a second stage, contacting a polyanionic solid with the first composition to form a second composition; and 3) in a third stage, (a) contacting the second composition with a polar solvent to release a metal salt of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and form a reacted solid. Methods of regenerating the polyanionic solid are described.
