摘要: A lamp control system includes a first driving circuit, an assistance DC power source having an output voltage lower than a working voltage of a lamp and a second driving circuit. The first driving circuit electrically connects the lamp with a utility power source to convert an AC power a DC power and supply the DC power to the lamp. The second driving circuit electrically connects the assistance DC power source with the lamp. The second driving circuit includes a boost circuit, which is connected to the assistance DC power source to promote the output voltage of the assistance DC power source to the working voltage of the lamp and then supply electrical power with the promoted voltage to the lamp when the utility power source is off.

摘要: A lamp includes a bracket having a cover, a lamp body fixed to the bracket by a shaft, a heating device and a pressure switch. The lamp body includes first and second portions at opposite sides of the shaft. The heating device is mounted at the first portion of the lamp body and the cover. The pressure switch is mounted to the cover and engages with a top of the second portion. When a weight of the snow/ice accumulated on the first portion of the lamp body is beyond a set value, the pressure switch controls the heating device to be switched on to melt the snow/ice; when the weight of the snow/ice accumulated on the lamp body decreases to be less than the set value, the pressure switch controls the heating device to be switched off.

摘要: An LED illumination system includes an LED lamp, a voltage stabilizing circuit and a control circuit. The LED lamp includes an LED string which has a plurality of LEDs connected in series. The voltage stabilizing circuit connects the LED lamp for supplying an electric current to the LED string. The control circuit includes an MCU and a MOSFET connected between the MCU and the LED string. The MCU detects the electric current flowing through the LED string and outputs a PWM signal which has a frequency within a range from 60 Hz to 500 Hz to the MOSFET. The MOSFET receives the PWM signal from the MCU and turns on and off repeatedly under a control of the PWM signal, to make a flicker frequency of the LEDs of the LED string be within a predetermined range.

摘要: An LED illumination system includes a control circuit having a timing unit, a control unit, a PWM signal generating unit and a micro-programmed control unit (MCU). The timing unit divides an operating period of an LED lamp into different time segments, and outputs clock signals. The control unit outputs different controlling signals corresponding to the clock signals to the PWM signal generating unit, which in turn generates different PWM signals with different duty cycles. A constant current circuit electrically connects the control circuit and outputs different electric currents to make the LED lamp emit light having different light intensities at the different time segments. The MCU is at an outside of the LED lamp and sets a program to control the timing unit, the control unit and the PWM signal generating unit.

摘要: An LED assembly includes a substrate and a plurality of LEDs mounted on the substrate. Each LED comprises an LED die, a base supporting the LED die thereon and thermally contacting the substrate to take heat generated by the LED die to the substrate, a pair of leads electrically connecting the LED die to input a current to the LED die, and an encapsulant enveloping the LED die. The pair of leads hover above the substrate to separate an electrical route of the LED assembly from a heat conducting pathway thereof. Furthermore, each LED has a plurality of legs extending radially from the base thereof to fit in the base of an adjacent LED, to thereby engagingly lock with the adjacent LED.

摘要: An illumination system includes an LED lamp, a timer, a controlling circuit, a driving circuit and a power source electrically connected together. The timer produces different signals to the controlling circuit at different periods, thereby driving the LED lamp to lighten with different brightness. A light or movement sensor is further electrically connected to the LED lamp to work together with the timer. The sensor cooperating with the timer, detects light or movement of an object to drive the LED lamp to lighten for a while with a corresponding brightness.

摘要: A PWM motor speed control circuit (10) includes a PWM signal generator (20), a driver integrated circuit (IC) (101) and a photocoupler (30) coupled between the PWM signal generator and the driver IC. The photocoupler receives an original PWM signal generated by the PWM signal generator and outputs a new PWM signal in response to the original PWM signal, wherein a voltage parameter of the original PWM signal is isolated by the photocoupler from a voltage parameter of the new PWM signal. The new PWM signal is fed to the driver IC and used for controlling speed of a motor (100).

摘要: A method of controlling a rotational speed of a fan motor for a heat generating electronic component includes the following steps: (1) obtaining an original PWM pulse in response to an internal die temperature of the electronic component, the original PWM pulse having a first duty cycle which corresponds to a first rotational speed for the fan motor; (2) obtaining an ambient temperature surrounding the electronic component; (3) generating a new PWM pulse based on the original PWM pulse and the ambient temperature, the new PWM pulse having a second duty cycle which corresponds to a second rotational speed for the fan motor; and (4) controlling the fan motor to operate at the second rotational speed. In this method, both the internal die temperature of the electronic component and the ambient temperature surrounding the electronic component are taken into consideration in determining the rotational speed of the fan motor.
