    摘要: A backlight modulation system includes a light source module, an image mapping unit, a histogram analysis unit, a backlight dimming unit, and an image reconstruction unit. An active display area of a panel is divided into multiple illumination areas. The image mapping unit performs an RGB-to-YUV transformation to acquire an original brightness factor for each pixel. The histogram analysis unit sums up the amount of pixels reaching a preset ratio in each illumination area to acquire reference brightness for each illumination area. The backlight dimming unit calculates out a dimming ratio and a reset brightness model according to the reference brightness. The image reconstruction unit resets original brightness factor of each pixel into an output brightness factor according to the reset brightness model, and outputs an image for an illumination area according to the output brightness factor and input image data.

The driving circuits are corresponding to the edges of the pixels for forming many openings. Each driving circuit includes a first main line and a second main line. The first main line has a first end connected to the active pixel matrix and a second end connected to the first substrate. The second main line is connected to the second end of the first main line through the first substrate. The color filter layers are filled in the openings. The sensing electrodes and the driving circuits are used for detecting at least one touch point.

    摘要: An image processing method for individually processing an image of each pixel unit is provided. A red-green-blue color space signal to be input to a pixel unit is transformed into a first brightness signal. The red-green-blue color space signal includes a first red signal, a first green signal and a first blue signal. The first brightness signal is transformed into a second brightness signal to obtain a contrast factor, wherein the contrast factor is a ratio of the second brightness signal and the first brightness signal. The first red signal, the first green signal and the first blue signal are multiplied by the contrast factor to obtain a second red signal, a second green signal and a second blue signal. The second red signal, the second green signal and the second blue signal are performed by color enhancement to obtain a high contrast and colorful image.

When a position where the touch-sensing element is disposed is pressed, the signal transmission element directly contacts the first pad and the second pad. When the position where the touch-sensing element is disposed is unpressed, the first pad and the second pad are electrically insulated.

A backlight of a display panel is adaptively adjusted according to a backlight adjustment factor related to the intensity value of an external light and the brightness of an original image. Brightness factors of the original image are corrected according to the adjustment of the backlight, and the original image is reset by using the corrected brightness factors and original color factors. Thereby, the problem of image distortion caused by backlight adjustment can be reduced.

An image signal is received and correspondingly converted to an original luminance value, an original first chroma value and an original second chroma value. The original luminance value is adjusted to a modulated luminance value. The modulated luminance value is less than the original luminance value as the original luminance value is less than the threshold. The original first and second chroma values are linearly adjusted to a modulated first chroma value and a modulated second chroma value according to an original vector between the original first and second chroma values and a white point in a color gamut. The modulated luminance value, the modulated first chroma value and the modulated second chroma value are reconverted to a modulated image signal.
