摘要： An electrically powered dispenser for paper towels uses a special roller bracket to provide not only proper positioning and support for the drive and pinch roller shafts, but also tension and grounding between the drive and pinch rollers, thereby producing a dispenser that is both reliable to operate and simple to assemble. The mounting bracket is integrally formed from a single sheet of conductive material and preferably includes a pair of side plates connected by a mounting bar which includes an integrally formed tear bar portion for cutting the material after it has been transported past the rollers. Each side plate incorporates a flexible bridge (arm) portion for biasing each of the two shafts against a respective bearing portion to thereby complete a static discharge path from the rollers to the mounting bar without requiring any separate springs, contacts or wires. In a preferred embodiment, a door mounted projection blade assists in proper paper loading, a removable top cover functions as a universal mounting bracket, and flexible paper protection fingers discourage unwanted contact between the paper and the tear bar.

摘要： An air filter housing (12) includes twist and lock structure (42) having a first position (FIGS. 5, 7, 10) permitting axial movement (66) of a cover (34) and base (36) relative to each other, and being rotatable in a first rotational direction (44) from the first position to a second position (FIGS. 4, 6, 9, 12), and in the second position preventing axial movement of the base and cover relative to each other, and being rotatable in a second opposite rotational direction (64) from the second position to the first position. Anti-rotation lock structure (70, 110, 140) provides a rotational retention force holding the twist and lock structure in the second position. The anti-rotation lock structure includes an arm (74, 112, 142) flexibly bendable about a bend line extending parallel to the axis (14) of the housing.

Filter media construction is provided by a sheet (80) having an internal pleated subsheet (88) with pleats (92, 94) engaging and packed against each other sufficiently tightly and bonded (104) such that fluid flows along the flow direction through the pleats in parallel therewith, rather than between the pleats and then transversely therethrough. An extended life two-stage fluid filter assembly includes first and second filter elements (80 and 112), wherein the pleats (114, 116) of a main downstream filter element (112) are spaced from each other along a spacing direction (122) transverse to the flow direction (46) and defining a transverse gap (124) therebetween through which fluid flows, and wherein the pleats (92, 94) of an upstream prefilter element (80) are packed against each other without such transverse gap and blocking fluid flow therebetween.

摘要： A dispenser for viscous liquids effectuates sequential operations by hydrostatic pressure on an assembly of two pistons separated from each other in a cylinder by a separation spring. When the piston assembly is embedded in material to be dispensed, the space between the pistons fills with material to be dispensed. Pressuring the reservoir by squeezing it or by the addition of pressurized gas, forces the piston assembly down the cylinder at the end of which is an opening from which material in the piston assembly can escape. One of the pistons moves toward the other end by pressure from the reservoir, causing material in the piston assembly to be dispensed. The volume inside the piston assembly defines and limits the volume of material that can be dispensed.
