摘要： Systems and methods for extending the range of a fiber optic DTS system are provided. In one respect, a method may provide steps for transmitting, in a first time period, an optical signal at a first energy level through an optical fiber, collecting backscatter signals as a result of the first transmission, adjusting the first energy level to a second energy level, transmitting, in an additional time period, the adjusted optical signal through the optical fiber, collecting backscatter signals as a result of the adjusted transmissions, and using a portion of the collected backscatter as a result of the first transmission and a portion of the collected backscatter as a result of the additional transmissions, determining one or more parameter profiles, such as a temperature profile.

摘要： Systems and methods for calibrating a temperature sensing system are disclosed. In one respect, a dual light source configuration may be provided. A first light source may illuminate a sensing fiber and an anti-Stokes band may be detected. A second light source may illuminate a sensing fiber and a Stokes band may be detected, where the Stokes band is substantially similar to the anti-Stokes band of the first light source. A ratio between the anti-Stokes and Stokes band may be used to calibrate a temperature sensing system.

摘要： Systems and methods for calibrating a temperature sensing system are disclosed. In one respect, a line may be placed in operative relation with a first reference cell and a second reference cell. The temperatures of the first and second reference cells may be adjusted. In one non-limiting example, the temperature of the first reference cell may be adjusted to a temperature above an ambient temperature and the temperature of the second reference cell may be adjusted to a temperature below an ambient temperature. The temperature sensing system may be calibrated based on the temperature data of the first and second reference cells.

The method includes: providing a support platen having a cut outline and a groove outline in the top surface of the support platen and a plurality of exhaust ports in the bottom of the groove, where a plurality of spaced perforations are in the top surface of the support platen, where the groove is configured to define a cut outline; positioning a first film on the top surface of the support platen; providing a laser to cut the first film along the cut outline of the top surface of the support platen; providing a second film on top of the first film; connecting the plurality of exhaust ports and the plurality of space perforations to a vacuum source to secure the first film to the support platen; directing a jet of gas onto the second film at the to maintain the second sheet in contact with the first sheet at a seam during welding concentric with a beam from the laser to weld the first film and the second film; moving the laser and the support platen relative to each other to weld the first film and the second film along a seam outline; and providing the laser to cut the first film and the second film along the cut outline to provide a trimmed bag.

The structure includes a series of serial communication pathways coupling the servers and the individual power supplies in the power supply system. A series of chassis communication modules communicates with servers in its respective chassis, and relays messages to and from a power supply communication module, which is responsible for granting or denying permission for individual servers to allocate power. The disclosed system also envisions intelligent de-allocation of power, for example in the event of a failure of individual components of the central power supply system.
