The LMA checks in the stored BCE whether the identifier information of the mobile node and the IP address of the first interface exist. If the existence is checked, the LMA continually judges whether the Proxy Care-of-Address in the BCE is the same as the Proxy Care-of-Address in the PBU message. If they are different, the LMA determines that the connection of the mobile node is a switchable connection, and determines that the mobile node has the ability of address preservation, then sends the IP address of the first interface to the second MAG.

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for discovering a home link in mobile IP, wherein the method includes: an access network assigns an address for a UE when the UE is attached to the network; the UE acquires a home address from the network; the UE compares the address assigned by the access network with the home address, and confirms that the UE is attached to the home link in the case that the address assigned by the access network and the home address are the same. Therefore, with the present invention, it is not necessary to configure the UE in advance, and the participation of the user is also not required. Thus improved application flexibility is provided.

A system for synchronizing user data is further provided. By means of the technical solution of the method and the system, the situation that a Quality of Service (QoS) used by a bearer in the new mobility management unit does not match with a bearer QoS of an updated subscription data when a user equipment moves into a coverage area of a new mobility management unit can be avoided.

A method and system of radio frequency (RF) power transmission among multiple wireless stations is provided. Control signals for switching a receiving station between a power reception mode and a data reception mode are generated. The control signals provide switching information about which of the modes to switch to, and timing of the switching. In the data reception mode, the receiving station processes an RF transmission from a sending station as a data communication. In the power reception mode the receiving station processes the RF transmission as energy radiation for powering the receiving station. One type of control signal for power mode switching is generated at the MAC layer of a receiving station and sent to the PHY layer of that station for power mode switching. Another type is RTS/CTS control signal exchanged between the sending and receiving stations.

A system and method for controlling congestion using Request-to-Send (RTS) and Clear-to-Send (CTS) in a wireless mesh network are provided. A receiver in a congestion state sets a duration field value of congestion control in a CTS frame and transmits the CTS frame to a sender. In response, the sender retransmits an RTS frame to the receiver without transmitting data, after waiting for an RTS retransmission waiting time period corresponding to the duration field value. The congestion state information is broadcast to neighboring nodes. Therefore, the congestion control system using the CTS frame does not use a separate frame for the congestion control. And, all of the neighboring nodes can participate in the congestion control, increasing the network efficiency.
