Abstract: A battery cell includes a shell and an end cap assembly, the shell being provided with an opening, and the end cap assembly including an end cap, an insulating member and an inner terminal, wherein the end cap is arranged at the opening, and a surface of the end cap close to the shell is provided with an annular protrusion extending in a circumferential direction of the end cap; the annular protrusion shrinks inwards relative to an edge of the end cap to form a flange between an outer side of the annular protrusion and the edge of the end cap; the flange is arranged on a shell wall of the shell, and the annular protrusion extends into the shell; and the insulating member is arranged in a groove enclosed by the annular protrusion, and the inner terminal is arranged on the insulating member.

Abstract: A tab welding method includes performing a first welding on a plurality of stacked layers of positive tabs and negative tabs using a toothed welding head, to form a tab body having a first weld spot region, in such a manner that a solid-phase connection is performed on the plurality of stacked layers of positive tabs and negative tabs; and performing a second welding on the tab body using a toothless welding head, to form a second weld spot region, in such a manner that after the first welding, a formed uneven region is shaped and flattened.

Abstract: A battery cell includes an electrode assembly including a main body portion and a tab. The tab is connected with a side portion of the main body portion in a first direction. The battery cell further includes a protective frame, which is of an integrated structure and includes three segments of protective plates respectively used for protecting three side faces of the main body portion. The three segments of protective plates comprise a first plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The third plate is located between the first plate and the second plate, two ends of the third plate are respectively connected with a first end of the first plate and a first end of the second plate, and at least one of the first plate, the second plate, and the third plate is provided with an opening. The tab is led out from the opening.

Abstract: An electrode assembly may include positive and negative electrode sheets, the positive and negative electrode sheets including positive and negative electrode current collectors and positive and negative electrode active material layers. Abstract: The present application relates to a device for preparing an electrode assembly and a preparation method of the electrode assembly.
