Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a secondary battery and a secondary battery. The method for manufacturing the secondary battery comprises an accommodation step of accommodating an electrode assembly in an accommodation part of a battery case, a vent membrane mounting step of mounting a vent membrane on a discharge hole, which passes between the inside and outside of the battery case, in the battery case, and a case sealing step of sealing the battery case, wherein the vent membrane allows only a gas to pass through the discharge hole of the battery case, but blocks a liquid.

The method includes injecting a lithium polysulfide-containing positive electrode electrolyte between the positive electrode and the cation exchange resin layer, and injecting a negative electrode electrolyte between the negative electrode and the cation exchange resin layer, the negative electrode electrolyte having a lithium polysulfide concentration lower than that of the positive electrode electrolyte.-

Abstract: Some embodiments of this application provide a battery cell, a battery, an electrical device, and a method and equipment for manufacturing a battery cell. The battery cell includes: a shell, where the shell includes an accommodation cavity and a first wall, and an injection port is created on the first wall; an electrode assembly, accommodated in the accommodation cavity; and a flow guide, disposed between the first wall and the electrode assembly. The flow guide includes a liquid collection tank. An opening of the liquid collection tank is oriented toward the first wall. A through-hole is created on a bottom wall of the liquid collection tank. The liquid collection tank is configured to collect an electrolyte solution injected through the injection port. The electrolyte solution in the liquid collection tank flows to the electrode assembly through the through-hole.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a feeding device for loading a material into a container, which relates to the technical field of product assembly. The feeding device is configured to load a material into a container having an opening. The feeding device includes a pressing unit. The pressing unit includes a pressing member having a pressing plane, and a driving member configured to drive the pressing member to move cyclically along a closed track. The closed track includes a first planar track segment, and when the pressing member moves along the first planar track segment, the pressing plane forms surface contact with the material and keeps extending in a material loading direction, the material loading direction being a movement direction of the material relative to the container. The feeding device can reduce damage to the material during a feeding process.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate generally to electrochemical cells having pre-lithiated semi-solid electrodes, and particularly to semi-solid electrodes that are pre-lithiated during the mixing of the semi-solid electrode slurry such that a solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) layer is formed in the semi-solid electrode before the electrochemical cell formation. In some embodiments, a semi-solid electrode includes about 20% to about 90% by volume of an active material, about 0% to about 25% by volume of a conductive material, about 10% to about 70% by volume of a liquid electrolyte, and lithium (as lithium metal, a lithium-containing material, and/or a lithium metal equivalent) in an amount sufficient to substantially pre-lithiate the active material. The lithium metal is configured to form a solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) layer on a surface of the active material before an initial charging cycle of an electrochemical cell that includes the semi-solid electrode.

The pouch film for the secondary battery has excellent high temperature long-term reliability in battery pack manufacturing, and can be useful for medium to large-sized batteries.
