摘要: Disclosed is a battery cell, which includes a battery case having an accommodation portion in which an electrode assembly is mounted, and a sealing portion formed by sealing an outer periphery thereof by heat fusion; an electrode lead electrically connected to an electrode tab included in the electrode assembly and protruding out of the battery case via the sealing portion; and a lead film located at a portion corresponding to the sealing portion in at least one of an upper portion and a lower portion of the electrode lead, wherein the lead film has a dented portion recessed toward an inside of the battery case, and the dented portion is opened toward an outside of the battery case.

摘要: Provided is a lithium secondary battery, including: a positive electrode layer including a lithium composite oxide sintered body; a negative electrode layer; a separator interposed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer; an electrolytic solution impregnated into the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, and the separator; and an exterior body, which has a closed space and is configured to store the positive electrode layer, the negative electrode layer, the separator, and the electrolytic solution in the closed space. This lithium secondary battery has a determination coefficient R2 of 0.8 or more, which is obtained when plots of a square root of the number of days elapsed of up to 180 days and a capacity maintenance ratio (%) in a float charging test are linearly regressed.

摘要: Discussed is a battery including an electrode assembly having a first electrode, a second electrode and a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode, a battery housing having a first end with a first opening and a second end with a second opening opposite the first end, the battery housing accommodating the electrode assembly and electrically connected to the second electrode to have a second polarity, a terminal electrically connected to the first electrode to have a first polarity, the terminal being exposed out of the battery housing through the first opening of the battery housing at the first end, and a cap covering and sealing the second opening at the second end of the battery housing. The cap overlaps the battery housing at the second end and has no polarity.

As an example, a cylindrical secondary battery includes an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a separator, and a second electrode plate, a case, a terminal passing through an upper surface portion of the case and coupled to the case through a first gasket, a first current collector plate arranged between an upper surface of the electrode assembly and the case and electrically connecting the first electrode plate and the terminal, and a cap plate configured to seal a lower end portion of the case, the case including the upper surface portion having a flat plate shape, a central portion having a terminal hole and protruding outward further than the upper surface portion, and a side surface portion extending downward from an edge of the upper surface portion.

摘要: The present invention provides a fiber-reinforced aerogel material which can be used as insulation in thermal battery applications. The fiber-reinforced aerogel material is highly durable, flexible, and has a thermal performance that exceeds the insulation materials currently used in thermal battery applications. The fiber-reinforced aerogel insulation material can be as thin as 1 mm less, and can have a thickness variation as low as 2% or less. Also provided is a method for improving the performance of a thermal battery by incorporating a reinforced aerogel material into the thermal battery. Further provided is a casting method for producing thin fiber-reinforced aerogel materials.
