Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of battery technologies, and more particularly, to a battery cell, a battery, an electric apparatus, a welding method, and a welding device. The battery cell includes: an end cover having an injection hole defined thereon; and a seal sealingly connected to the injection hole. A first weld segment and a second weld segment are formed between the seal and the end cover. An annular weld seam of the seal is formed by enclosing with at least a part of the first weld segment and at least a part of the second weld segment together. The first weld segment is formed by continuous laser light. The second weld segment is formed by pulsed laser light.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for inspecting a welding state in a welded portion for an electronic or mechanical coupling in a lithium secondary battery, the apparatus including: a measuring unit configured to obtain data for deriving a resistance value of the welded portion by allowing a resistance measuring probe to contact the welded portion; and a controller configured to communicate with the measuring unit, determine the resistance value of the welded portion by receiving the data obtained from the measuring unit, and determine whether a weak welding was performed by comparing the determined resistance value with a threshold resistance value, in which the measuring unit is configured to allow the resistance measuring probe to contact one end and the other end of the welded portion.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for welding electrode tabs protruding from an electrode assembly to each other, which may include a guide part configured to gather the electrode tabs; and a welding part configured to weld the electrode tabs gathered by the guide part on a predetermined welding area. The guide part may be configured to press the electrode tabs toward the electrode assembly, while moving toward the electrode assembly, such that a length from the electrode assembly to the welding area increases in at least a portion of the electrode tabs before being welded by the welding part. Accordingly, some aspects of the present invention may prevent the electrode tabs from disconnecting.

Abstract: The linear groove formation method includes a resist forming process of forming a coated resist on a surface of a steel sheet, a laser irradiating process of irradiating laser beams onto the steel sheet while repeating a laser scanning in a direction intersecting a rolling direction of the steel sheet cyclically in the rolling direction of the steel sheet to remove the coated resist in portions irradiated with the laser beams, and an etching process of forming linear grooves by etching portions of the steel sheet from which the coated resist is removed. In the laser irradiating process, the coated resist is removed by using two or more laser irradiating devices, with a certain irradiation energy, a certain beam diameter in a direction perpendicular to a laser scanning direction, and a certain incidence angle with respect to the surface of the steel sheet.
