Abstract: A modular incubator includes a housing including one or more fastening mechanisms for attachment to a workstation frame, a platform located at the housing and defining a sample placement area, and a chamber wall structure coupled to the platform. The chamber wall structure is pivotable between a closed position against the platform to form a sample chamber and an open position in which a front end of the chamber wall structure is spaced apart from the platform to allow access to the sample placement area. The modular incubator further includes a lid coupled to and openable from the chamber wall structure to expose at least a portion of the chamber wall structure for viewing.

Abstract: A tissue containment system includes a bag body, a member extending from the bag body and defining a channel, and a viewing window. The bag body at least partially defines an interior region configured to contain a loose tissue specimen and defines an opening sized to receive the loose tissue specimen. The bag body is configured such that a first portion of the bag body can be disposed in an abdominal cavity of a patient while a second portion of the bag body extends outside of the patient. The viewing window is at least partially transparent and provides a seal between the interior region of the bag body and an ambient environment. The channel of the member is configured to receive a tissue visualization device that can be used to view the interior region of the containment bag through the viewing window.

Abstract: A method of positioning a uterine manipulator within a patient includes applying a deforming force to a colpotomizer cup of the uterine manipulator to adjust the colpotomizer cup from a nominal width configuration to a reduced width configuration, inserting the colpotomizer cup into a vaginal canal of the patient while the colpotomizer cup is in the reduced width configuration, removing the deforming force from the colpotomizer cup to allow the colpotomizer cup to expand from the reduced width configuration to the nominal width configuration, and positioning the colpotomizer cup about a cervix of the patient while the colpotomizer cup is in the nominal width configuration.
