Abstract: According to one aspect, a luminaire comprises a luminaire housing, at least one LED disposed within the luminaire housing, and an LED driver circuit disposed within a driver housing. The driver housing comprises an inner portion and an outer portion, wherein at least a part of the inner portion is disposed between the LED driver circuit and the outer portion and wherein the LED driver circuit is in thermal communication with the outer portion.

Abstract: A light fixture including a mounting assembly for securing the light fixture to a static structure. The mounting assembly includes a gripper attachable to the static structure and a bar having a gripping region and a first end secured with respect to a main body portion of the light fixture. The mounting assembly may be adjustable such that the light fixture is held in a selected one of a plurality of possible orientations. In such embodiments, the gripper and the bar are configured for a finite number of the orientations such that the light fixture is held in a selected one of a plurality of orientations.

Abstract: An LED light fixture including at least one LED light source thermally coupled to a heat-conductive structure. The heat-conductive structure having an LED-supporting region and heat-dissipating surfaces extending away therefrom. The at least one LED light source is thermally coupled to the LED-supporting region. The heat-conductive structure defines venting apertures bordering the at least one LED light source to facilitate ambient fluid flow to and from the heat-dissipating surfaces. In some embodiments, the LED light fixture includes a protrusion extending into a corresponding one of the venting apertures and oriented to direct air flow. In certain embodiments, the heat-conductive structure defines a plurality of venting apertures adjacent the at least one LED light source, the heat-dissipating surfaces include fins increasing in height at positions adjacent to the at least one of the venting apertures.

Abstract: An LED floodlight fixture LED light fixture including a plurality of heat-sink-mounted LED-array modules, each module engaging an LED-adjacent surface of a heat-sink base for transfer of heat from the module, and at least one venting aperture through the heat-sink base to provide air ingress to the heat-dissipating surfaces adjacent to the aperture. The LED light fixture may include a plurality of heat sinks, each heat sink with its own heat-dissipating surfaces and heat-sink base which has one of the LED-array modules engaged thereon. The heat-sink base is wider than the module thereon such that the heat-sink base includes a beyond-module portion. The venting aperture(s) is/are through the beyond-module portion of the heat-sink base. The inventive light fixture may include a housing and an LED assembly which includes the heat-sink-mounted LED-array modules. The LED assembly and the housing form a venting gap therebetween to provide air ingress along the heat-sink base to the heat-dissipating surfaces.

Abstract: An LED light fixture includes a heat-sink body having a circuit-board mounting surface and a circuit board in thermal-contact relationship to the circuit-board mounting surface. The circuit board has an LED-populated area and a surrounding non-LED-populated area such that lateral heat conduction within the circuit board is greater than heat conduction from the circuit board to the circuit-board mounting surface. The fixture may be a low-profile LED light fixture including a base plate which has a substantially planar back surface, a front surface and heat-dissipating surfaces extending forward from the front surface. An LED circuit board and at least one LED power-circuitry unit, which are secured with respect to the front surface adjacent to the heat-dissipating surfaces, do not extend behind the back surface of the base plate.
