Abstract: To provide a technique for a battery-packaging material made of a film-form laminate in which at least a base material layer, an adhesive layer, a metal layer, and a sealant layer are laminated successively, wherein: electrolytic solution resistance is further improved by including a polyester film in the base material layer; cracks and pinholes are less likely to be created at the time of forming the polyester-film-including base material layer; and formability is improved. This battery-packaging material is made of a laminate in which at least a base material layer, an adhesive layer, a metal layer, and a sealant layer are laminated successively, wherein: the base material layer includes a polyester film; and the metal layer is an aluminum foil in which the 0.2% proof stress at the time of performing a tensile test in a direction parallel to the rolling direction is from 55 to 140 N/mm2.

Abstract: In a packaging body provided with at least an inner layer composed of a thermal-adhesive polyolefin based resin and a barrier layer composed of a metal foil, in which metal terminals are sealed by the thermal-adhesive resin with unconnected ends of the metal terminals protruding outside, an adhesive sheet for sealing metal terminals of a flat electrochemical cell which is not only able to prevent a short circuit between the barrier layer and the metal terminals but high in a layer-to-layer adhesive strength and a low possibility of a reduction in battery performance to be caused due to invasion of moisture is provided. In the adhesive sheet for sealing a metal terminal part of a flat electrochemical cell according to the invention, a fibrous sheet or a porous sheet is covered by the inner layer and an acid-modified polyolefin based resin layer having adhesive properties.

Abstract: A packaging material for a cell including a layered film in which at least a base-material layer, an adhesive layer, a metallic layer, and a sealant layer are layered in the stated order. The packaging material for a cell including a layered body in which at least a base-material layer, an adhesive layer, a metallic layer, and a sealant layer are layered in the stated order, wherein the packaging material for a cell can be imparted with highly exceptional moldability, and dramatically less prone to pinholing and cracking during molding by using, as the metallic layer, an aluminum foil having 0.2% yield strength of 58-121 N/mm2 when a tensile test is performed in the direction parallel to the rolling direction.
